Since there is no strictness regarding the attendance of the students, the students are very relaxed in terms of attending classes, although it does give students a lot of time to work on other things but most of the students end up wasting their time in non-productive activities.

IPU-CET I had a 36k rank in JEE Mains so had no other option as such, also the college is one of the best colleges of GGSIPU after the main campus.

The first year is the same for all the engineering students, and all the sections have students from every branch in the first year. The curriculum is good, and not big but it has not been updated for a long time( sadly true for all colleges in India).

No, students have to look for internships themselves. No official cell is there in the college that helps the students in finding internships although there are some amazing technical societies that helo the students find internships and gives the students a chance to work on some amazing projects.

The placements are not up to the standard for one of the best engineering colleges in Delhi. There are a lot of companies that visit the college for recruitment and they do recruit a lot of students but the average salary is not great. Most of the companies that come to our college are mass recruiters.

The annual cultural and technical fest Techsurge and Mridang are organized in the month of March. The various societies in the college organize their own fests too: IOSD - Impulse IEEE - IEEE DAY AAYAM - Annual Dramatics fest and many other cultural events are organized throughout the year.

The fees for B. Tech program is about 120000 for every year which might vary a bit every year. Also, the college provides a Book bank service where students can get their curriculum books for free, they just have to deposit a security of 5000, which can be taken back after returning the books so that the students don't have to buy the books from the market.

The college does have a scheme for underprivileged students where they are given financial aid to support their education.

The campus life is very good, although the college is small in size. The gender ratio is much better than other engineering colleges

The college has one boy's hostel which can accommodate about 150 boys, it has various options to choose from like a single bed, double sharing, triple sharing etc. The food is really good and prepared with proper safety and hygiene. The hostel is gated so there are no security issues.

The college has had many students that got into IIMs and other premier institutions. The seniors are very helpful and supportive, they can guide you in case of a problem.

I had a rank of 1088 in the CET, so I applied for the counseling process and got IT in the first round so to lock my seat i paid an amount of ?40000(refundable), to be considered for the further rounds. In the second round I got CSE, so I went on with my admission procedure by depositing tge remaining fee.

The faculty is experienced, some of the teachers have an experience of about 20 years!! Most of them are Ph.D. holders and are a master of their respective fields (most). Although the teaching pattern followed is the same old style, but the teachers try to give their best in terms of performance, after all, it comes down to the students
