My Review about AOT

As a Science Student in class 11 and 12 I have a deep addiction towards computers and engineering. So from then only I used to be an engineer and that also in CSE. So after my Higher Secondary, I choose this course. In my college there are generally 6-7 streams and overall 3-4k students including all semester students and approx 50-60 faculty members for different subjects. There are teachers from each subject in our college and each of them has highest qualification degree in their subjects, and their teaching mechanisms is so student-friendly and inspiring also Exams were conducted in a gap of nearly 1.5 months in each 6 month semester period, and the questions are a mid level difficulty.

From 6-7 th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited our college - TCS, Cognizant, KPIT, Persistent, IBS, Trianz, MindTree, CTS, TISMO, IBM, etc. Number, of offers made per year- per student minimum 1-2 offers. The highest package company provides - 6-7LPA. and Average Package company provides - 3-4LPA Percentage of students getting placed - near about 95-97% each year. After getting the degree my plan is to either pursue further higher education (M.tech) or continue with the company where I have been placed.

The fees structure is varied year by year. According to my 4 year study average fees per year is nearly about 83-85k. In first two semester it was 40k In 2nd year it was 41k per semester, In 3rd year it was 42k per semester, and in last year it was 43k per semester. Additionally as a training fees we have to provide 10k in every even semester (2,4,6) so in total the total cost to study is around 4 Lakh for total 4 years. I got the SVMCM scholarship which worth 60000 per year while my 4 year study. This scholarship help me a lot to continue my study efficiently without any problem in my financial situation.

As our college is a bit strict about attendance college life is a bit difficult as like other colleges we can't come around in campus in class time or something. We have to attend all the classes even in last year also to obtain a 75% attendance in each semester, or else we can't sit in the semester exam. Without this the college life is good enough, the campus view of the buildings, and labs with so many modern devices and facilities are worthwhile. There are many clubs like the Students Chapter for each stream, Ingenium,IEEE student chapter in the college and I am also the member of IEEE student's chapter, and also have organised an event in my 3rd year. There are many events happening in college like tech quizzes, coding events, hackathon, and all other technical events, and in every year there is an annual fest called ARCADIA held where many guests and celebrities also come.

Hi, I am Arnab Basak, student of 8th Sem CSE in Academy of Technology. I have enrolled in this course in 2020 through the WBJEE Result, where I got the rank 12379. Then as an admission process I fill up the from , select my desired colleges and in round-2 I got the college AOT and in CSE department. As I have applied through WBJEE so after the WBJEE result the application for different colleges will be start online from there one can get the application from and proceed accordingly. Application fees will be like for starting fees of 200-300 + extra charges provided if you do the from fillup from any ciber cafe ,then if we lock the college then extra fees and college 1st semester fees need to be provided. Cut off for CSE in AOT - WBJEE General Rank less than 15k and for TFW - Rank should be less than 6-7k. No, as of now I don't see any kind of improvement in the admission process.
