Course Curriculum Overview
I actually like electronics very much since my 10 th standard. So to improve my skills in this field I choose to take this branch. And the faculty here has vaat knowledge in the concepts and syllabus. As faculty to student ratio is 1:10 so that it very easy for us to contact the professor and clarify doubts.
Internships Opportunities
The Internship season starts for every individual in 3 rd year 1st semester who pursue 4 year bachelor's course and in 4th year for 5 years dual degree. It actually has very big competition as the opportunities is less. So CV plays vital role and one should prepare CV very honestly. Projects and the courses we mention in the CV plays important role.
Placement Experience
As like other institutions we have campus placements, but comparatively less may be due to transport service to Rourkela. We have placement committee that brings different companiesband guide during the placement season.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure include tution fee, hostel fee, mess fee, maintenance fee, medical fee, student activity fee, other fee. They allow us to pay fee semester wise through sbi portal, which is 2,00,000 semester wise. Scholarships and financial assistance is also provided
Campus Life
NIT ROURKELA has the second biggest area among all other institutes in India with 1200 acres. As it is very old Institute since 1960 the infrastructure is so good and they keep the campus always clean. There is a very big library called biju Patnaik library with as many of books. There are many clubs in our campus that improve skills of individual.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very clean provided with good facilities. The quality of meal they provide is average but the quantity is appreciatable. We will have food 4 times a day: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner. The dishes are according to the mess menu.
Admission
I wrote JEE mains in 2021 and got qualifying percentile. After that I have applied for counciling through JOSAA, by choosing then institutes according to their branches in order. According to our rank, the required Institute is alloted to us for each counciling round. There are 6 rounds. Aftering alloted the Institute they will provide us with the provisional admission letter and application number. Through that we go to that particular Institute website fill the application form and pay the fee
