I have choose this course for two reason. One is because of its placement opportunity and its applications in various field. And second Techno International New town is a renowned college and it has very good placement opportunities and since the college is near to my home. The faculties are highly qualified here. There are 4 ca's and one semester exam. The college is under Makaut board

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 117600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees structure is 4,70,000. You can apply for fresship also where you will get a subsidy of 1 lakh. You can also apply Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. Even if any one can not financially afford the course then he or she can talk directly to the college for some subsiy. For these they have to show their income certificate.

Campus Life

The campus is very good and the location of the college is really nice. It is the New Town, Saltlake in kolkata. From the college you can see the hanging restaurant of the New town. There are many groups or clubs in the college like nss, edc.. Many band programs are available in the campus. The college also provides ebooks, e library.

Admission

The admission process is based on Wbjee and Jee Mains. You have to give Wbjee or Jee Mains and have to secure a rank that is equal to the cut-off and admission criteria of the college then you can book your seat in the college. The application form can be found in the Wbjee portal.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
