Remarks
I always miss my colleagues and my college life fun. I can't say is it a good remark that I passed out or not. One must enjoy the fullest. It's always fun to be there.
Entrance Preview
I took admissions according to the cut off percentage in 12th class in best 4 subjects. As we all know NorthCampus, DU is the best. Ramjas college is one of the oldest college affiliated to DELHI UNIVERSITY. It ranks 4th among all DU colleges when I took admission. Even I am very happy to be its alumni. I recommend everyone to took admission over here.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opt for BSc chemistry Hons. In Ramjas College. As I already mentioned it's one of the best colleges. Course structure was awesome, chemistry laboratories were good, teachers, faculties were very helpful and qualified too. Research blog is very good. In the college, there is a different building for research purposes only. We went there every Saturday, and that part of college motivates you the most.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, My college provide internship. Average Stipend was about 9000/- month ,the highest being 17000/- month and lowest being 5000/- month. Overall experience was good. One can learn a lot of things during internship , I mean more of the practical things . I leave my house at 9 AM sharp and came back at 8 PM. It was hectic but you are lucky if you are doing this.
Placement Experience
In my batch, their were about 31 placements and in my senior batch there were about 35. Highest salary was given to one of my colleague of 13 lakhs per annum and the minimum was of 6 lakh per annum. 62% was the placement percentage of my batch. There were about seven big companies visited including Google and Facebook. About 75% students got an internship from Ramjas. The highest stipend was of INR 9000/month and the lowest was INR 4200/month. There was no placement cell.
College Events
There are hundreds of events in Ramjas College. Being it the annual function or the poster makings, quizzes, sports, cultural programs anything, one enjoyed the fullest. The annual festival is the biggest one with opening ceremony includes performances of Bollywood stars.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As Ramjas College is Government College , so the fees structure is easily affordable. It is INR 10000/- year Tuition Fees and INR 3000 examination fees per year . I think it is feasible for everyone except few. Also, there is scholarship opportunity to guys belongs to poor families , so one need not to worry about fees much. Just Come here and everything will be sort out by its own .
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, scholarship was available in DELHI UNIVERSITY. Scholarship is sponsored by Government of New Delhi. It is given to all the BPL belonging guys and also to the University toppers.
Alumni/Alumna
College Seniors initially seems cruel but as the time passes they all became our friends . Whenever we want any kind of help they were always ready to support us .
Exam Structure
Ohh everyone is feared of this thing called "exams". Anyways exams were not that hard they just ask you the basics. Exams are scheduled in every August and there are enough pre-exam preparations by the teachers that final exams seems very easy to you. Labs were horrible. External Examiners are very intelligent and they just ask you to make a simple salt. You just clear the concepts and you will be king over here.
Admission
Every year in June, DELHI UNIVERSITY generate cutoff lists for different colleges and for different branches on category basis . Students calculate their percentage among best 4 subjects of class 12th and can choose branch and college accordingly. Go to the college which fits you the best and submit the fees and be a part of it .
Faculty
As I already mentioned that faculty members were very much qualified, interactive and smart in all aspects. All of them were very interested in teaching students and they were very frank to us. One of my teacher I remember her name DR.KALPANA SHARMA, what a teacher she is mean the way she taught us was incredible. You must go and take admission in Ramjas ,I emphasize.
