Overall college is good

There is anti Ragging squad in our college, which means it is Ragging free college. Only bad things about few faculty and wifi facility. And poor mess facilities.

I had to appear for WBJEE for getting into the college. I managed to get 36k rank in general. Though this is not a good rank to get CSE department through counseling in good college I had managed to do so.

CSE is a good course, especially for them who is going to pursue B.Tech course in private college. It is because of the campusing facility provided by the college. In private college, most come for campusing is Software companies. So, this course along with IT and ECE, are good for future career aspect. While in first four-semester student get the exposure to the basic subjects like Chem, Phy, etc. From 5th sem, they will get into their respective course.

Our provides internship from 7th sem. This is a minimum experience I know till now. Local companies based in Durgapur and Kharagpur came this year to provide the internship.

Fees structure of college is lowest I have searched for. And this is the college I got with good remarks and good campusing facilities. 3.56L in 4 four years, which quite affordable. While in general college it is above 4 Lakhs. With this low cost for, course expecting jobs from college is imaginary but this College is providing it. So it is feasible for college.

Yes, HDFC bank has linked with the college they provide some good loan offers to students who are going take admission in college.

Campus life is interesting. There are lots of sports facilities like cricket,football , basketball, volleyball,karate. There tournaments of volleyball and Cricket. Annually, sports day is celebrated in the college. The gender ratio in our branch is almost 50-50. There is no girl in mechanical branch. There is less number of people in the local area of a college campus. There is a gym in campus and canteen too. Quality is not so good. And in canteen only veg food stuffs only because non-veg is not allowed.

Two or three alumni I had got chances to talk to. They are doing well in their career. One of them has his own startup. Our seniors are very well behaved and that gesture impressed us.

There 4 tests taken by our college and 2 sem exam conducted by Makaut in a year. So, it not a big deal. Yes, the odd semesters are too busy and have short time period because of lots of holidays. So, it is very hard schedule for odd sem. While in even sem there were a huge time for completing the syllabus.

After announcement of result of WBJEE, I had to sit for counseling and paid 20k online for it before the counseling. But in the first round of counselling i didn't got the aspired college. Then i again appeared for 2nd round and this College with CSE department. Then on given period I took admission in this College.

Professors of the college and teachers of physics, chemistry and computer are good. They are highly qualified. But teachers of electrical and electronics subjects are not so good. All teachers are well mannered and helpful. Specifically for new students, they are very careful.
