Remarks

The college is good. The management is quite good.

Entrance Preview

I appeared for JEE Advanced in 2016. I scored 63 in this exam. I opted for this course because I was interested and also I got this course with my rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is quite fine. But we have to study subjects like Human Values, History, Philosophy, etc. But these courses have more credits than the departmental courses. Also sometimes there are extra classes for these subjects which are totally waste of time.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide company internships. The companies like Goldman Sachs, Reliance, HUL, etc. come here for recruitment of students for internship. The stipend depends from company to company. Like HUL gives 2.5 lacs for 2 months while Reliance gives 50000 per month for 2 months.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is quite fine. Around 70% students get placed. Companies like IOCL, Oyo Rooms, Ola Cabs, Oracle, Mastercard, Standard Chartered come here for placement. IOCL offers 16 lpa. Oracle offers 30 lpa. Standard Chartered offers 18 lpa. And sometimes a Coding company like Microsoft or Google offers package in crores to 1 student.

College Events

4

The 4 main events are Spardha, FMC Weekend, Kashiyatra and Technex. Spardha is Sports event. FMC weekend is Film and Media event. Kashiyatra is Cultural event. While Technex is Technical event. Spardha is conducted in October. FMC Weekend has no fixed month for conducting it. Kashiyatra is in January. Technex is in February.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is expensive for students whose parents have income more than 5 lpa. While fee is feasible for students whose parents have income less than 5 lpa or SC, ST or PWD students. Rs 1,05,950.00 - for General/OBC and income more than 5 lpa Rs 39,283.00 - for General/OBC and income between 1 and 5 lpa Rs 5950 - for General/OBC and income less than 1 lpa Rs 5650 - for SC, ST and PWD students

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship - It is for top 25% students of department on the basis of their entrance Rank and Category. Top Class Education Scheme for SC students - it is for SC students. National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students - Scholarship (Formally Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship - it is for ST students. PRATHIBHA SCHOLARSHIPS - it is for girls. NC Jain Scholarship - it is based on the income of parents.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is good. The gender ratio is 1 girl for 70 boys. The extra curricular activities are quite good. The labs are quite fine. Sports facilities are good. Competitions are good in our college. The competitions are not conducted on time. Also they waste a lot of time for no reason.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel facilities are quite fine. The hostel food is worse in some hostels and good in others. The senior hostels have good food. While juniors do not have good food. The hostels have TV and study room. The study room is quite small. TV sometimes doesn't work

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni are quite are good. Like Nikesh Arora- CEO of Palo Alto networks, Aman Bhandari- Cricket Analysist at Star Sports and Manoj Sinha- BJP politician. They are very helpful.

Admission

At first, I had to pay for my seat confirmation. Then I had to go to nearest IIT for confirmation of my seat. After few days, I went to my college for admission. Then I had to fill a form for hostel allotment. Next day, I had to go to department for verification and admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
