Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because of versatility and exposure, here students are provided extra courses which adds value and develop skills. Student faculty ratio is very admiring which is 50:1 and most of the professors graduated from central university it means they are of high calibre, they have thier own researchs and books. The way of teaching is charming all the concepts are explained in a practical manner ,and every student is given presentation topic on which he has to perform on ,in front of students which helps to develop presentation skill .exams are based on semester basis ,there are two semesters in one year ,marks are further distributed in internal and external basis , internal assessment marks are given by professor himself and external are given for exams. it's no very difficult at all but moderate one needs to study only for one month sincerely to pass the examination some of the questions are very repeatative and some are novous.

Placement Experience

5

Placement is decent in our college almost all the students are placed, the highest package was last year 35 lakh where average package was 13lakhs. Students become eligible for placement from 2nd semester of third year. Some of the names of companies visited are McKenzie, Microsoft, Deloitte etc. The percentage of students getting placement is more than 80 per cent. I plan to get placement from here after some years I will become an entrepreneur.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure is very simple total fee for the course is 87000 and for the first year 30000 for 3 consecutive years, there is a scholarship for financially weaker sections which provides a full fee payment of 12 thousand per year. Colleges provide several internship opportunities to students but only if the condition applied. Students must have a minimum 75 per cent attendance. if a student does not maintain this minimum attendance figure than the student can not apply for the scholarship available. The college provides a good placement to students there are several companies which offer packages to students, last year's Highest placement was 35 lakhs and the average package was 13 lakh which is quite lucrative, almost all students are placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
