Likes

The cultural fest is celebrated very grandly
Club activities are quite interesting all time
Its expanding recently. After 2016,ISM changed to IIT, so it's still developing IIT

Dislikes

Not all professors are interactive and friendly
Hostel facilities can be improved far better
Internet conditions for the worst ever here.

Course Curriculum Overview

1st and 2nd Semester is common for all branches students giving an opportunity for branch change. Not all the proffessors interact with students in class. Labs were maintained in an average mannaer. The student teacher ratio is not bad. There is enough number of teachers

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is an opportunity for fee waiver for OBC and EWS students as per family income and financial status. SC/ST students has to bear just hostel fees and their own expenses. There are several scholarships provided by central government for economically backward students

Campus Life

There are 2 major fests an annual cultural fest Srijan conducted in February and technical fest Concetto celebrated in Octoberwith 2 more fests namely parakram, a sports fest celebrated in march and Khanan, geo mining fest celebrated in September. There are nearly 20+ official clubs both tech and cult included

Admission

JEE Advance examination is entrance test to get into IIT. To qualify Advance one has to write and qualify JEE MAINS and clear the cut off set by nta. There is nearly 20 percentage reservations for women also.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

1.The main thing about our campus, campus placements are so good. Branches like CSE & ECE have high placement percentage about 90. 2.From 3rd year students got involved college internships and programmes that allow them to better placements. 3.Top companies like Google,Microsoft,Amazon,Intel,Samsung etc visited our campus. And the highest package of our campus is about 60LPA offered by Amazon. 4.I planned to work after completing my B.Tech.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
