- After second year you don't have to care about your attendance you can freely bunk the classes.
- In west bangle most of the college don't have a good campus but this college has a quite good campus
- There are plenty of seniors that will guide you for your future.
Dislikes
- Faculties are not to much supportive in any event.
- Their are nothing around the college if you want any thing then you have to travel 5kms.
- This college does not have any good canteen.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college comes under MAKAUT University whose syllabus was way older then you think. But still this college provide you a decent placement as it has a tied venture with techno india as well as JIS group. The teacher to student ratio are about 1:100 M.tech is the minimum qualification of the faculties in this college. The exam are quite difficult but if you know how to write a story on every topic then you can pass it easily.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. some of the companies are: tcs wipro assenture neutonix trustt and many more Around 30 -40 companies come every year. the avg package is around 3.5 to 4 LPA and the highest is around 12 - 15 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of all the colleges in west bengle are quite affordable. If you are from west bengle then you will get extra benefits like easy loan , student credit cards, easy scholarship, some reservations, etc. But if you are not a resident of west bengle then you do not get any type of benefits.
Campus Life
To be honest this is not a great college life. As in this college only one annual fest is organised but as last year their is no fest in the college. All the clubs are mostly inactive all the time. Clubs organise only one or two event in a year.
Hostel Facilities
Each room contains 2 children but the room are to small for two. Mess food is worst most of the children left the hostle because of the food. But their is no ragging in the hostle. so all the new student are quite comfotable
Admission
Asansol Engineering College is in West Bengle. If you want to take admission in this college then you have appear in WBJEE Examination conducted by the WB education board. You can find form and all other detail on the wbjee official site. For CSE branch you have to optain the rank within 30k. There is also management quota available. for management quota come to college with your wbjee score card.
