Remarks

There are a lot of good things but taking about bad things, management is a bit tough. They sometimes become reckless. Overall they are good but some of their decision are arbitrary and hard to digest.

Entrance Preview

JEE Mains, my score was 230 in total and I chose this because it was among the top ranked colleges among various NITs.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is good and rich. Only thing I will suggest is to include new technologies like machine learning to include on a practical basis. Apart from this, the course is good and the very helpful. The basics of engineering are well covered. Subjects like thermodynamics, machine design are same as used in industries so they are very helpful to when it comes to working in industries or for higher studies also.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Lot of companies come for internships during end of second year and third year for two months period. For mechanical engineering, the average stipend is 10-15 thousands per month.

Placement Experience

3.5

It is very good. All major core companies come here for recruitment and details can be seen of official website of college. You need not to worry about that. You have to academically sound and you are good to go when it comes to department like mechanical engineering.

College Events

4.5

There are several event. Technical eventike axis. cultural event is Arohi. Consortium is for people interested in commercials. Then department gathering and institute gatterjng is also there. Also some cult nights are there and inter sectional sports are also there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a bit expensive for the upcoming student. For my time it was only 42k per semester including both the college and the hostel charges. Apart from this if you belong to category then you will get waivers and scholarships also. You will also get free books and some other amounts.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are ther if you perform good in academics. Loan is always available by banks but not by the college.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is very beautiful and the recent development infrastructure wise has also made it good, only reducing some greenery. Apart from this, being in the mechanical department, the sex ration you can understand. But in college it is good. Also, there is diversity as you can see a beautiful amalgamation of students from various regions. Also, we respect the diversity and we promote this.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is super cool. The rooms are good and so it the living areas. There is canteen also. There is place to play even on the nights. Net facility is also provided. For third and final year students single occupancy rooms are there. Also the food is good on average.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior's are the real reacher you can say. They will not help you in settling inside campus but also help you academically. There is a mentorship program also where third year students take up first year students and help then in making their stay happy. Alumni network is also good and helpful. They give scholarships and financial aids when they find it really helpful.

Exam Structure

It is good. In a semester there are two sessional exams of 15 marks each. They are taken in a gap of one month. After that end sem exam comes of 60 marks. All the three marks are cumulated to get the total CGPA of yours. Practicals of 10 marks are also included.

Admission

After the results declared, I filled my choices at the common platform wherein we need to feel our preference of colleges. After that in various rounds of declarations, I got this college and I locked this out. Then I reported to college in Nagpur where all the admission process took place. There were lot of students who help in admission process there.

Faculty

3.5

In our department or for other departments also, the faculties are well qualified and we'll experienced. They know the subject very well and also know the practical approach of that subject. Apart from this they are very helpful. They will keep you engaged and also motivated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
