Remarks
Well,I love my college. Its the place where I spent my 4 years and I can say those were my memorable years.The college management is helpful.Sometimes people at higher levels are busy, we have to be patient to get our job done.But everyone is helpful.The college life is one to remember for whole life.
Entrance Preview
I cleared an exam called Complex Exam that is held in Nepal. The top 80 people get a full scholarship to study in India. The students are placed in one of the best colleges in India by the govt. and education wing of India. Luckily, I got NMIT. My rank was 34 out of 7000 students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as per modern standards. Most of the departments are certified by NBA tier-1 thus we can say that the curriculum standards has been approved internationally. There is a great mix of theoretical, practical as well as industrial influence on the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides the internship.There are a lot of big projects ongoing in our college. Some of them being Studsat(student satellite program) ,MEMS,etc.The experience is really good. I really don't have any idea of the stipend but it's worth it.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are excellent for computer science, Electronics and ISE. The placement for mechanical is good enough. Electrical has average placement and aeronautical also has average placements.The average package for CS, IS and ECE is 5-7 lakhs and for others is 3-4 lakhs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is mid-range.It is neither too cheap nor too expensive.Too ensure quality,institution requires high budget.Thus as per the quality of college ,the fee is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
I really don't have any idea about the loans but there are many scholarships provided by our college.Every year many students of SC and ST.There are many scholarships based on your rank in the entrance examination ranging from 50-80 % scholarship for good rankers.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is nearly 50-50.A college has a good football team that have won VTU cup,we have a good cricket team,basketball team,etc.Similarly competitions such as robotics,rc plane,designing,hacking,debugging,etc commonly takes place.I took part in rc plane and robotics.
Exam Structure
There are 3 internals and one board exam in every semester for theory subjects.For labs,there is one internals and one external exam.The internal marks carries fifty percentage of total marks and the rest marks are based on performance in board exams.
Admission
We directly received the offer letter from the college as per our scholarship provided by Indian government.We then directly went to admission department and the teachers helped us about the required processes and after filling some forms,we were a proud Nmitians.
Faculty
Well,no college has 100% good teachers.Similarly in our college also some teachers are average but most of the teachers are really good.Specially the professor are excellent and time and again they have been making our college proud.Everyone is friendly and ready to help.
