Remarks
Not a bad college but yes it's too far from Delhi and is 3km inside a village so one has to travel 3km to reach college from the main road. Yet teacher and faculty are good.
Entrance Preview
It has a common entrance test of ggsipu named as CET through which students get admission on the basis of their ranks and the ranks for Hmr ranges from 18-24k
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is same in all the GGSIPU affiliated course. It's not dependent on the college. The course is very much sufficient and best offered by IP University. The course has all the main subjects required for a stream and also it has minor subjects from other streams too and the important thing is that you have to clear them all
Placement Experience
The placement from this college is average. But what I think is the placement of a student depends on his/her skills and not on the college. So blaming college for placements has no point. The college organise job fair in which companies visited the campus and students get placed but more of the companies are of sales and technical companies mainly come for CSE and IT students
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's not feasible for all the students and the last to last year's the fees were increased by 12-14% and we've increased to approximately one lakh from INR 83737 annually. The fees can't be afforded by all of the parents but if you want the admission you have to loosen your pocket
Fees and Financial Aid
No such scholarship and loan facilities are available in our college it is just you have to pay the whole fees annually for two semesters at a time around in September which is approximately one lakh rupees.
Campus Life
Campus life is good if you have a good friend circle else you are surrounded by fields on all the sides. Extracurricular activities are less but yes competitions are held regularly tech expo is organized every 6 months in the college where you can display your innovative projects and also take part in the lan gaming . Every year the annual fest emblazon is organized. The college also has a dramatic society but no options available for music and all.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel facilities are provided by the college and no mess is there. But there is a canteen which is open for students and the food is good and conditions are hygenic.There is a cafe coffee day outlet also in the college where students can have a CCD coffee in a village area
Alumni/Alumna
Ya senior students are very co-operative and helpful.No issues of ragging in the first year and they explained all the things well about the attendance exam pattern and all and I am still in contact with them. Had a Greta seniors
Exam Structure
Now the exam pattern is made easy from the 2016 batch. The students have to give one sessional exam in which half of the syllabus comes and they are assessed in the college only for that. Then there are external practical in which they have to perform practicals in the front of an external. The sessional marks are evaluated from 25 and the main exams have a weightage of 75 marks. So at last the marks are evaluated from 100 in theory and 100 in practicals
Admission
After getting a rank in the ggsipu CET test the students get a rank on there performance. On the basis of that rank students get admission in different colleges of ggsipu. If your rank is low don't worry HMR is there for you if your rank is between 18-24k you can get your name till the third counselling . After getting the allotment letter you have to visit the college with all the required documents so as to get admission. The procedure only takes 2 days. And at last you have to submit the annual fees
