MY DREAM COLLEGE

NIT Rourkela is one of the top most nit in India. The faculties here are highly qualified. I chose this college as for the college matter not the branch, a good college environment can give you a good lesson in life ,and how to deal practically with the situation. Each year there are 2 semester and 2 mid semester, and to be honest one should study to qualify the exam. The student ratio in the college is near about 4:1 i.e, among 5 students 4 are boys and 1 is girl.

Many companies come for the internship .(ex: Deloitte, Google, Sony, and many more multinational companies) with almost stipend of atleast 20k. One must prepare a strong resume for the internship,and must have atleast one project.

The campus placement is only after completing the final year,but the students prepare their intership in the 3rd year itself. The college offers 100 percent placement with the average package upto 16 lpa and the highest goes to 55 lpa in oncampus placement but in offcampus it goes to near 94 lpa.

For every NIT the fees structure range between 6 to 8 lacs in all the 4 years including tution fees, hostel fees and all sorts of expenses. But college provides many scholarship to students, For example,if a student's family income is less than 1 lacs then the college leave the students tution fees ,if the family income range between 1 to 5 lacs then college leave three- fourth tution fees . And many more government scholarship scheme comes to college and it depends on your cgpa and family income.

There are many annual fest that occur in our college. Nitrutsav in the month of February, innovision in the month of November, cosmopolitan in the month of January. The college Library(Biju Pattnaik library ) is one of the largest Libra in Orissa. The classroom and all the infrastructure is the best ,with all sorts of facilities and Fully centralised ac. There are about 60 clubs in the college to promote the games ,and there are different stadium for different sports.

The hostel are of moderate as of the typical hostel but they are of a massive building,with the internet access in each room. The meal available here is of moderate taste but provides sufficient enough.

The admission process was through jee mains .To get into any NIT one should qualify the jee mains exam with the cutoff marks.In our time application fees was 1000 rupees and the application form will be released atleast one month before the exam. I got admission on the basis of EWS quota and it's cutoff was near about 100 to get into a good ranking college.
