I liked the greenery of the campus and the environment
The fast food stalls near the campus and tried many new things here
The teaching style was unique here and many memories were made

The mess food quality was very bad and not good for health
The attendance policy here is quite strict

It is the most suitable branch available to me according to my rank.. Faculty is less student is more Good faculty with good teaching and also modern technologies available while teaching Exams are generally held in every two months.... The exam difficulty lies in between hard and moderate.

Here a lot of companies come for offering internships.. so it hepls in elevating the skills of the students.. the general figures offered during the internships is 40000-50000... the companies come from a variety field

After 7th sem the students become eligible for campus placements Microsoft, snapdragon, mediatek Highest package offered is 80 lakhs to a cse dept pupil avg package is 20 lakh for cse dept Almost 70 percent students gets placed successfully Becoming an alumni

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure have grown exponentially from previous years... It has become twice or thrice the fees that was implemented 5 years ago... Till now i have got no scholarship... You can apply for a scholarship if you are eligible for it

Annual fest is Nitrutsav conducted in the month of february Tech fest is Innovision conducted in the month of october There is sufficient quantity of books available in the library Projector is there and air conditioners are also available in the classrooms There are many scope in the field of sports here Cyborg club, udaan club

Hostel Facilities

Room is too small for first years with a little space... two students are mandatory to live within a single room.. Meal quality is very poor and the quantity is quite low for a student Registration process is very simple and affordability is quite cheap I have not rented a room or pg till now....

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

To be eligible for this course one should appear for the jee mains exam and secure suitable rank in the merit list.. Higher the rank the more no. of options available for choosing your favourite branch It is found in the official site that is nta.nic.in The application process is good enough

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

NIT ROURKELA THE ACTUAL REVIEW

I had a choice for chemical engineering in NIT Calicut,kerala my home state but i was not interested in chemistry so I dropped that choice and preferred electrical engineering in NIT Rourkela because choosing this would be more related to core and computer field which also was the one I was interested in.
