Likes
- I mostly like the greenery campus here having a much space for the students.
- Like the fests in the year having 2 big fests . We enjoyed much during the fests .
- The mess food is very good . And we don't have to wash clothes or wash utensils after eating .
Dislikes
- Semester exam timing is not good . It is between 2 months .
- The morning class timing is from 8 that I don't like at all.
- Holidays are very much less in number that infact disliked me .
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I really like the electronics systems. The faculty to student ratio is very good . There is a total of 1000 students in the first year . The faculties are well qualified with a post doctoral degree in the foreign universities. The term exams are about in 2 months and one cam pass the exam by sincere study during the exam times .
Internships Opportunities
The companies that are come for internships are Google , Amazon and from Microsoft. The most of the projects are from coding and web developments . Also there are many projects from electronics departments. The outcomes are highly benefitted to the students .
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited are Microsoft, Google , Amazon , Accenture and many different big companies. The highest package in campus is 1 cr . The average package is about 13.5 lakhs per annum . About 95.6 percentage of students get placements . After the completion of degree I want to join a big company like Microsoft.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is about 99000 in one semester including hostel fees . Students have got many scholarship facilities here . Students got different job offers in campus after the graduation. Poor students also got fees waiver .
Campus Life
There are 2 annual main fest namely Innovision nd Nitrustav . And besides this there are many small fests throughout the year . There is a big central Library having many different varieties of books . There is indoor , outdoor stadiums for the students to play . Students conduct interNIT sports tournaments. For extra curricular activities there is student activity centres and a variety of 64 clubs having different works .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are very good . In a room 2 beds are there , 2 charis and 2 tables to study . Meal quality is very good and menu is also having different type of foods . Registration in the hostel is during the admission process . No I have not rented any room nearby .
Admission
I got in to NIT Rourkela through The JEE examination after 12th examination. I got a percentile of 97.8 and got ECE department. You can find the application form in the official site of NTA . I have a reservation of OBC . The admission process is very good . No need of any improvement in the admission process. Admission is thorough Josaa councelling and CSAB councelling.
