Course Curriculum Overview
I had a wish to be a SOFTWARE ENGINEER, so I chose this course. The ratio is approx 1:3. Means approx 70 students are there in this course and 20 faculties are available here. Faculty members are very friendly and are like a mentor to every student. So I give 5 star for their teaching process.

From 4th year onwards the students become eligible for campus placements or internships. Bassetti, Cognizant, Star cement etc companies visit our college for placements. 90 percent students get placed here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees and details are available in the official website. SVMCM scholarship is available for the students who has passed the HS exam with more than 60% marks. In which he or she can get 60000 per year. Here on campus jobs are available.
Campus Life
In this college FRESHER'S WELCOME and COLLEGE FEST is organised nearly in the month of January and March respectively. The books are provided for each semester from a book bank card from the library of the college. Volleyball, basketball, football, cricket, badminton etc sports are played here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is also available here and is affordable for all as the cost is affordable. Here meals are provided for four times. 6 days 2 times non veg and only Thursday veg is provided. The hostel is available near the college.
Admission
This is a B.TECH college. So, the candidates who has passed the HIGHER SECONDARY EXAM or cracked WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (WBJEE), are able to take admission in this college.Or one can get admission through seat booking facility also. All the details related to the application form, application fees and application dates are available in the official website of GARGI MEMORIAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KOLKATA. Or, in other way, one can contact to the helpline number provided in the website or can directly talk to the principal or any person in the administrative department of the college face to face. The TFW candidates can have a lot of mercy in their course fees. But other castes like GENERAL, OBC, SC, ST can get only the advantage of WBJEE exam cut off marks. Without these, no other such facilities are available related to caste. No, I don't think any more improvement is required here.
