Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the mining branch because of the placement at Nit Rourkela . The faculty are good and supportive,The student ratio is good , The faculty are highly qualified PhD holder from reputed institute and has experience , the teaching methods are quite good.Exams are conducted timely and yout need to practice for 1-2 hrs daily to pass the exam...
Internships Opportunities
During 3rd year students are eligible to opt for internship in different fields live IT, Finance,Core etc . The companies that provide internship like Google, Facebook,Tata,TCS etc. You have to qualify a exam to eligible for internship.
Placement Experience
The placement ratio of nitrkl is improving year by year , students are eligible to sit in placement from the starting of 4th year, The highest package this year 2023 is around 80 lacs per annum. The avg package of mining branch is 9 lacs per annum for the year 2023, the percentage of students gets placed is around 80.

The fess to study at nit Rourkela is decent, not much like private colleges, there are many scholarship program which students can apt for and which helps them financially and mentally, The academic department at Nitr helps students personally to apt scholarship programs..

The campus is very beautiful and huge , there are many destinations in the campus where you can hang out. There are many clubs more than 100 , which provides students to develop social skills, The infrastructure of the college is one of the best among all the nits..
Hostel Facilities
There are total about 10 hostel for all students with 2 girls hostel included, The room is well maintained,the mess provides good quality meal and in time. The registration process of hostel is done during the time of admission.
