Not upto the standard

If you don't get any good colleges in government and also didn't get colleges like Manipal and VIT you can definitely try here but don't expect very good environment here.

I took SRMJEE for admission to the college. They don't reveal marks but they give ranking if you are under 10000 you will get CSE which is only for worth in this college.

There are many streams relate to all branches and the course is pretty wide for every subject and the main focus of the study is not to test the knowledge of a student but to put pressure on them and to see how well a student can learn the theory there is no provision of research here. Only a student can learn by himself or herself teachers are also not helping at all.

No not at all there are some exams which are held for an internship which are already available on the internet and them forward to us. Companies come here for placements but not internships. If you want an internship you should have a talent for that. But there are few companies which offer pre placements and also hire for internships but they are very few. They offer about 10-15 thousand per month stipend.

If you are in CSE in SRM and you did at least ok in your 3 years you will get a job but the salary is very less. Which could be as low as 3lk per annum. But the first job is important so you should take it. Almost 80 percent of CSE students get placement offers. All companies come to SRM University which you heard of. But they take very fewer students and a package is also very less than the renowned institutions.

The college life here is very exciting keeping the fact aside from many exams there are many cultural facts as well as huge open fests as well as tech fest in the college. One fest gets over we will hear from the next once. The two famous fests of the college are Milan and Aarush both are the heck of a deal many celebrities come and you can enjoy it all but like other colleges, it's not free at all there is a great fee for it.

It is not so expensive not so feasible college. If you get a good rank you can get the degree in 10lk Rs but if you want admission notice having a good rank than you have to give around 20-25 lakh Rs this is not all. Living here is also expensive which includes around 5-8 lakh Rs as the minimum. So this could not be said feasible.

Scholarships are given to the top 5 rankers of University which is impossible to get in a strength of 2000 students in CSE alone there are persons with a perfect 10 CGPA. And scholarships for them also is not too good so that all the fee is gonna get free. The scholarship is not so good to support full free education like other institutions.

The gender ratio here is not so good there is almost 10 boys with respect to one girl. institution gives a good campus life as there are many resources and there are fests to keep the students interested. There are extracurricular activities at all as there is no good ground in campus and as seeing the number of students the grounds are occupied as hell and you can't even play there. The campus does have many competitions and there are clubs for that and they are very competitive and very tough to win in a rush like that.

Hostels in SRM are quite good than others there is cleaning every day. There are 2 types of hostels ac and non-ac. AC hostels are 1lk more expensive than non-ac which is a total non-sence deal. Mess food is very bad the food quality as well as the taste is very bad if you haven't eaten bad food you won't be able to survive on mesa's food. So be ready to spend a whole lot of money on food.

Seriously no I only know one or two seniors because of the club's I have been in. The rush on campus is so high that asking someone something is impossible. Alumni of SRM is not a network. It doesn't exist I think because of such vast population. Some of my friends don't even know even one name of our alumni which is ok because they can't help us.

The first year of SRM is very tight scheduled you will not even have chances of getting relaxed there are labs assignments and all when you think exams getting over they'll start again. Labs are very good in structure and some labs are very difficult too. Like engineering graphics lab. You will also not get a great break like other colleges. After end semester you will get a one month Holiday maximum.

I got rank about 6000 in SRMJEE then they alloted me a slot for the counselling and then they call up based on ranking and you can choose the branch. Then there should be a DD for a specific amount that need to be submitted and then you get admission.

Teachers only knows how to read here they really don't have any knowledge outside of what they are teaching they are just doing there job to complete their syllabus. You can not ask a teacher a single doubt because they don't even understand what they are teaching. Students only have to dig there the way to survive the course.
