Over all the college is very good and beautiful for this natural beauty

In this course you learn all about practical things, which is also very interesting. And at the end you have more options to choose, as like research field, Defence field as a technical officer, also join most famous company job etc. In our college, have a lots of most qualified faculty. Most of them completed their PhD, and some teachers also completed their Masters.But all the teachers have lots of experience which is more helpful us. And also the teaching methods is very good. Here we also get a very well maintained laboratory of different departments, where we get many of real experiments.so at last we get a good, and fruit full knowledge about my subject and depertment. And also our teachers are so friendly with us, so we wouldn't hesitate to ask them our doubts. In this course we face yearly two semister examination. Which is modarate lavel questions. If you follow all the class of you teacher and learn all things which your teacher suggest, you will be score a good.

Here also get an opportunity to get a internship with top most companies in India as like. Coca-Cola, Amazon, TCS , LnT, HPCL etc. And also some of students get a pre placement letter from this company which is very amazing.

6th ,7th and 8th semesters students are also eligible for campus placement. And some of the students get pre placement letter in their internship time. A lots of very famous companies are visited and give a large package for joining with them. In the last year the highest package was 65 LPA off campus, 27 LPA on campus. And also the average package is 9.5 to 10 LPA. In the last year data also placed 99% student.

In our btech course, in our college, we paid for total degree fees, for core department - 36,000 and for non-core department - 64,000. Which is also very good. And in the hostel we also paid 32000/ years for mess and hostel fees. And here you also get some scholership as like SVMCM, OASIS scholership, Minoritie scholership. And also get some stipend from college.

In our campus we get two big annual fest, one is SRISTI ( technical fest) , other is JECLAT ( social fest) . And also get some little program in our campus. In the central library we get a lots of collection of book which we prefer a most. Also have at about 18 numbers of club in our campus where you join as your interest. Like CFI ( As a technical club where you invent or making any hardware project) , Cyber security club, coding club, space research club, cricket club, volleyball club, basketball club, football club, dance club, drama club, business club, singing club etc.

In our campus have 5 hostel for different years students. And also girls are in a different hostel. The condition of the hostel is good. And the room are also well maintained. And as usual clean. Meal quality in our meess is good, and also affordable.

In our college, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College Autonomous, take admission through only WBJEE or JEE Main examination cutoff. In here , for admission you must pass your 12th examination from any recognised boards. After WBJEE examination you apply on your college counciling, after selection of college you can get a chance to get admission here. This college have reserved 100% seat for West Bengal state candidates.so from other state you can't get admission here.
