MPSTME Review

The college management is really good and helpful to the students.

This college is under deemed university NMIMS. They have their own entrance exam which includes an aptitude test and personal interview. Ranks are released based on your performance in test and accordingly, you are selected. I chose this college as the infrastructure and management of this college is very good and they guarantee placements in good firms.

The course at MPSTME is really good. It has 6 subjects in each semester covering many programming languages and others subjects. The course is more technical based rather than other colleges where the courses are more of Management based. The subjects help in learning many things and this college is definitely recommendable.

Yes the college does provide internship. It depends on which companies and firms come to the college and how much they are ready to offer. But the college does send mails regarding internship offers.

Many companies come to MPSTME for recruiting students for their firm. For being eligible for the placements the college has a procedure that all students have to go through. Students have to attend aptitude classes for 6 months and attend infosys campus connect lectures and give a test, passing which students are eligible for placements.

The college has many teams like technical, cultural, sports, etc. There is no time when there is no event going on in college. It is fun to be in this college as something or the other is always going on. The main college fest happens during December to January period. DJ nights, parties, sports events, mini events, games, editorial events and many more keep happening.

The fee structure is different for different courses. It is a little expensive for the bachelor courses and feasible for the Masters courses. But it totally worth paying the fees because this is a really great college with great facilities and having many chances for advancements and future enhancement in personal self.

The college does not offer any scholarships or loan facilities to students for taking admissions. But if given proper reason then they might allow to pay the fees in part payment.

The campus life as discussed before, the college has many extracurricular activities in college. Labs are a part of the courses opted for in college. Every course has its own type of competitions. IT has programming competitions, mechanical have their own competitions and similarly other courses too.

The mess and college canteen is the same in the college. The boys hostel is located beside the college itself and the girls hostel is located a km away. The hostel has timing restrictions. Students are not allowed to be outside after 9 pm. Also the students must inform the guard when the students decide to go back to their home.

The senior students are very helpful and the college calls the alumni to come to college and share their experiences with the students about their past college experience and how the college have helped them reach the position they are at. The alumni helps alot.

The exam structure is distributed. Their are 2 internals tests 15 marks each and 1 extra internals for improving your marks. Then comes the externals which are for 70 marks. It is compulsory to get 30% min in the internals, 30% min in externals and min 50 marks overall.

I kept checking their website for dates of the exam. Once the link was active you had to register and they would send you an email with the details for the exam. The exam consists of an aptitude test and personal interview. After a day the results are declared and you get your rank.

The faculty is very helpful. Every faculty knows already 2 to 3 subject contents. This gives a larger scope to the students. They have more options of going to professors regarding their doubts. The professors do not get angry while solving your doubts and are always ready to help and clear all your doubts.
