Course Curriculum Overview
I choose my branch as information technology because of my keen intrest in computer science. Here faculty student ratio is on higher side but not so much high . It is nearly 20:1 . Faculty here are highly qualified and want to helpyou but there are some faculties who prefer odia speaking students rathar other students. Term exams occur occur timely and they are not so difficult to pass.
Placement Experience
Students from 7th semester become campus placements eligible. Nearly 50-55 companies visit here . On campus highest is 26.5 lakhs in 2024 and off-campus highest is 87.5 lakhs. Average package here is nearly 10 lakhs . Nearly 80-90 percent of students get placed. My plan is to go for higher studies after getting the degree from here
Fees and Financial Aid
Studying here will cost you nearly 12 lakhs . There are several opportunities of scholarship such as TFW scheme by odisha government . There is no fee hike at present as it is a government college. THe college also provides you the flexibility in fees paying. you can esily get a job here if you work hard and the stipend will be around 80000 to 90000
Campus Life
There is one big techno cultural fest Advaita occurs and it ocurs basically in the month of feb march. We have a not so huge library but it every book you required and almost every news articles and journals. Clasroom are well equipped with projector and all basic amenities but there are no AC in the classroom. Sports activities are good here we can play the games like cricket , football , badminton , etc. There are many clubs like TARS(robotics), tech society, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Here we get a triple sharing room with all basic accomodations . Food provided in mess is not world-class but it is eatable and you will not fall sick. We can register for hostel during the time of admission and hostel here are quite affordable it will cost nearly 18000 per year
Admission
The admission process here is smooth . Here admission occurs by qualifying jee mains. There are two methods for admission. jossa for other state students and state counselling for odisha students. according to me admission process here was very and there is no reqirement of improvement.
