Things to consider before coming to NITR.

1. I chose the course due to the college atmosphere, personal interests, and excellent faculty. 2. Faculty to student ratio is almost 1:3. 3. Faculty are highly qualified with most of them holding degrees from reputed IITs and foreign institutions, all modern methods of teaching are implemented. 4. 2 exams occur in a semester with a gap of 2-3 months each, along with internal tests. The level of the questions are excellent, proper practice required for the same.

Average internship stipend offered by most of the companies here is 45000, with highest reaching upto 1.5 Lakhs. Most of these companies provide an excellent work culture to the students along with nice PPOs for good performance.

1. Students become eligible fpr campus placements from 7th semester. 2. Companies like Tata, SAIL, ONGC,BPCL, IOCL, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes, Audi, etc, visit the college regularly. 3. Highest package offered is 83 LPA, Average is 13-14 LPA. 4. More than 95% of the students get placed. 4. My plan is to get into the core PSUs after getting the degree.

1. Fees for four years along with hostel accomoation is 8.2 lakhs.Tuition fees is exempted for the students belogning to SC/ST communities. One third of tuition fees is to be paid by students with parental annual income less than 5 lakhs.

1. Annual tech fest is Innovision which usually occurs in November every year. Annual cultural fest is Nitrutsav which occurs in February. 2. A lot of reference books related to the subjects taught in college are easily available in library along with publications by professors. It also has a good collection of journals and periodicals. 3. The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and are equipped with projectors and centralized auditory system. 4. World-class facilites for most of the sports like Cricket, football, hockey, swimming, etc are available inside campus. 5. Clubs in the college - RITVIC, Pantomime (Acting and drama), Inquizzitive(Quizzing), Clarion(Public Speaking), APS, Webwiz( For coding and web development), etc

1. Each room is provided with regular internet supply through ethernet, bathrooms are equipped with Geysers and washing machines. 2. Food quality of mess is decent, with food from various parts of country. 3. Registration process for hostel is done within the admission process only.

1. Qualify JEE Mains, rank should satisfy the cutoff. 2. Application process starts from JOSAA Counselling, seat gets allocated within six rounds according to the rank (if not, one can apply through CSAB, which has 2 counselling rounds). Further final admission procedure occurs through the eapplication portal of the college along with fee payment. 3. All admission procedure should be completed within JOSAA counselling.
