The placement of the college is quite impressive, the Average Package of the college in 2023 was 12 lakh and the highest package was 83 lakh, In the 5th semester all the students have to compulsorily do a summer internship, In every branch there is almost 95% students get placed .
Fees and Financial Aid
We have to pay 1 lakh rupees per semester, From the second year and For the First year 124000Rs was taken Including some one-time fees. Students can also avail of scholarships from the national scholarship Portal.

During the Admission process Hostel was allotted to all the students, In the First Year VS hall was allotted To all the Students The Hostel rooms are quite small For the accommodation of 2 people, There are 4 meals served per day, and The Meal quality is average.
Admission
The admission process was through JEE Mains, For the Metallurgy branch the cutoff for the Home state was 36000 and For Other state, it was 33000, From the official website of nit Rourkela we find the application form and we have to fill out that application form online and submit it on the date of admission.
