College management is quite slow when it comes to examinations department. And also the college website is old and needs an update.

There wasn't any entrance exam or interview as we were the 1st merit batch of this course. Everyone joins in this way and there are no management seats.

This course is 60% of practical and 40% in theory. The first 2-3 semesters have the majority of theory and the rest is the majority of practicals. Apart from these, there are supplementary papers like English, languages, general course, value education, personality development, etc These help to build career and job opportunities.

No, the college doesn't provide the internship. But they have campus interviews and companies like HP, Amazon, McKinsey, Danfoss, etc come for recruiting freshers

Placements are good in comparison to other colleges. The package for freshers is generally from ten thousand to fifteen thousand. Few companies provide about twenty thousand for freshers. The best ones get into the best companies. That's what I can say

The major event celebrated is deep woods, which is celebrated for 3 days. It is a national level cultural event held during the month of February. Apart from them, there are hall( hostel) days. The no of events of cultural happening at this college has no limits and is a well-known place for fun, music, dance and much more.

Fees structure for this course is INR 50,000 for 1st semester and as the semesters go on the fee decreases by INR 5000. In odd semesters the fees are bit higher than even semesters. Quite expensive when compared with other colleges. The fees for odd semesters are around INR 40,000 and for even semesters is INR 30,000.

There are various scholarships for students of the college. Minority scholarship scheme, SC/ST scholarship scheme, etc.

As this is one of the top 10 colleges in India, students come from various places in India as well as NRI. There can be a large variety of students in the college. The ratio of boys and girls are 55:45. The college union society runs the cultural events of the college.

Hostels are called halls over here. There are 6 halls in total, 3 for boys and 3 for girls. The halls follow their own traditions and initiations. Each student would be provided with a room and cleanliness is well maintained. Food is of good quality and is healthy too.

There are various alumni networks and groups in Facebook and also groups. They follow a wide range of network and are spread worldwide.

Exams are for 100 marks and they are divided as 50-50. 50 would be from the end of semester exams and the other 50 is from internal assessments. The internals and ESE should have a minimum of 40% to pass in them. The total should be more than 40 out of 100 with 20 from internals and 20 from ESE examination.

I applied in college website just as how everyone does. The applications will be shortlisted and the selected candidate's name will be put up online or offline in college website and notice board. There would be totally 5 lists, after the name comes in list, we need to pay the fees within 7 days from the date mentioned in list.

The staff is good when it comes to academics. They are well qualified in both in academics and field as well. They have good knowledge of what happens in industry and that becomes an added advantage to the students on shaping their career. Each staff deals with a specialization in the department, so each one can have a wide knowledge of the subject.
