Best Engineering College

The college management was good and well diversed. The policies and protocols were very quick and there was zero tolerance on ragging. I can say that I have been part of the best University in India. The management uses the latest technology to operate the university operations.

I gave SRMEEE exam and scored AIR 3004 rank. This is the one of the best Engineering college with world class faculty and infrastructure. Perhaps any engineering stream is left, which have not run by this college. The placement record was best among all private engineering institutions

The curriculum was set for the vision of engineering the best resources in their technical field. Curriculum includes the 2 cycle test, surprise test, practical exams along with final semester exams.The practical knowledge was included in all major technical subjects. Nano technology for advanced electronics Telecom billing and Radar communication was my elective. Nano technology advance electronics gave me exposure of learning new things happening in real time electronics. Radar communication gave me chance to take part in the mission of research for sending University satellite along with ISRO team. They have taught us how real time telecom billing and bidding happens in market of telecom industry.

Yes, they do. They offer some paid and unpaid internship in order to make students understand the real practical knowledge with renowned companies across the globe. I got 2 months internship in European MNC with stipend of 8000 per month and have completed their technical documentation along with practical knowledge of the corporate world in which I was going to enter after some time.

Ample of the opportunities available for every student who is we'll focus and experience in their fields. The placement process of SRM University is dynamic and transparent. At my time almost every student was having more than two offer letters from best corporate MNCs and placement percentage was 100%. All qualified students were placed in renowned MNCs and average package was 4.5LPA with maximum package of 36LPA in workapps from CSE department.TCS, Wipro, Infosys,payoda,workapps, caterpillar,SAP, Philips, Google,Accenture,HCL, Microsoft,Nokia,Musigma, NTT data,HP,Dell and more than 240 giants came to our campus and offer the best to the students. All of my branch mates were placed in 1st month of 7th semester. That was scope of SRM University.

Oh that comes my favourite part of my college. The AARUSH was a techno management and it was a national level technical festival.This includes hundreds of events which cover all the technical field with full energetic thoughts and enjoyment. Ethical hacking,airrocketry,data mining,robotics and nanotechnology workshops and many more were the part of this interesting event. This festival is of 3 days including total prize money of 300000 in all events.HP and dell was the title sponsor for this festival and 28 other companies took the sponsorship of this tech fest.This also conducts the dance,music,poetry,fashion show events with full of talented people performing. There were also a special guest evening in which celebrities across the India use to come and perform.During my time Honey Singh,Mika, Shreya Ghosal,Daler mehndi came in respective years. There were also indian science Congress event happens and the chief guest was Pranab Mukherjee president of India. And in convocation, Narendra Modi also have come. It was just great to be in the gigantic campus in between 8000 students across the globe.

When it comes to fees structure it was quite balanced because when fees structure is compared to the facilities of the campus it was balanced and feasible.150000 was the course fees and 70000 was the hostel fees for the world class mess and hostel accommodation.There were separately NRI and special hostel accommodation available. Obviously this was a little bit expensive for middle class family but believe me it was worth paying each penny.

Yes there was a scholarship scheme for student those who secured up to 100 AIR in SRMEEE exam. For those students the full fee waiver available along with hostel accommodation. After that there was provision to help those students who are supremely talented but unable to pay college fees. There were on campus loan facility available. One of my friend secured AIR 4 in SRMEEE exam he got full fee waiver and took branch mechanical engineering to fulfill his dreams.

College life this rings a bell in my mind and take me to those awesome days in SRM University huge campus. The campus was full of diversities and ample amount of opportunities available to those who came to fulfill their dreams. There were regular technical workshops conducted and different international technical societies for research activities in campus. There were approx 10000 students from different religion,speeking different languages access the globe. only egarness to learn bind them all in the same dynamic environment.The student ratio was 60 to 40 male female and gives well diversifying competitive environment. All students were part of a family called SRMites and it was our proud to be part of it. Presence of Students from all states in India and across globe it self shows a well diversified and dynamic platform for learning.

Hostel accommodation is best at SRM University. Total 48 hostel blocks available for accommodating students in all streams.Hotesl room were big in size and attached bathrooms also with attached cupboards and comfortable chair and table in NRI hostels costing 90000 per year. In normal hostel accommodation there were a bed and cupboards attached with a chair and study table room was shared by three person comfortably and this costs 70000 per year.The food was very hygienic and healthy for all student and regular updates were taken for mood quality monitoring purpose. The hostel life was just awesome there and well secured with 10mbps WiFi connectivity and supremely cleaned environment.

The senior were like our family member and very helpful. They showed us positive way and helped us for learning more. They have taken care of our comfort in campus so that they made associations for different fields as hostel and accommodation, technical houses. One of our senior group have presented a robotics team to MIT with 8 member and fortunately, I was part of it. After them we have continued there research and model work to present the event in next year.

The exam schedule was very dynamic and prepare the students in every aspects of the market. There were pre declared 2 cycle test with consisted syllabus focussing on practical knowledge.The practical lab were well equipped and make ourselves very interactive to proceed with technical learning. There were supposed test in a month conducted to test our preparedness for our continuous technical learning. And before 2 month of the final semester exam a model test is conducted which covers all the syllabus.this shows how before 1 month professors completes syllabus and gives time to student to perform well in final semester exam. There are 5 credits for attendance too which adds in 2 cycle test surprise test and model exam marks and make total internals of marks 50. Then external final semester is of 50 marks for each paper. Internal and external adds on and complete 100 marks.

After SRMEEE 3004 rank I got call letter from the college congratulating me and inviting for counselling.There were total 26 branches of b.tech including the latest one also machetronics, bioinformatics, nanotechnology. I have chosen Telecommunication as per my interest.

The faculty of SRM University is highly qualified practical and we'll focused in nature. They have set their goals to engineer best market resources in their field.most of the faculty is P.hd holder and pursuing their research along with University search lab.Proffessors have ample of technical knowledge and experience for making a student best in the techical field.it has option for guest lectures from renowned foreign universities.
