Course Curriculum Overview
I choose production and Industrial engineering department of BIT, Mesra because of many reasons. The very first reason to opt this branch because of my JEE MAINS rank. I secure AIR 68K rank and that's why I opt this branch. My second reason was I had a lot of interest in stream like mechanical engineering or production and industrial engineering But my rank was decent and I from Bihar so I did not had chance to get admission in mechanical engineering and that's why I opt production and industrial engineering which is specialized branch of mechanical engineering. In production and industrial engineering department I have learned a lot things and in my department something is also related toh management that is a great thing for us and give us a lot of opportunities to get a good job in better companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of BIT, Mesra is quite high as compared to other colleges like NITs and IITs. But if any one have no chance to take admission in IITs or top NITs then you can take admission in my college..Yes surely fee is high but BIT, mesra is not disappoint you in aspects of infrastructures, facilities, faculties as well as in placements.. The campus of Our college is so large and about approximately 780 acres. So you can explore a lot of things in this campus which is a big issue in NITs...
Campus Life
The campus life of BIT, MESRA is quite good. The campus is big and any one can feel the greenary of this campus. Since the campus of our college is large there is a lot of things to explore.In BIT, Mesra space and rockery department is present and this was the first college to established this branch in 1971.. Since Our collge was established in 1955, there is a lot of historical place in Our campus. There is a Army camp near space and rockery department which show the sign of war during 1971 between India and Pakistan. The infrastructure of BIT Mesra is great. There is a big library inside main building, a big size sports complex, and a huge size auditorium is also present in this campus. You can enjoy and make great memories in this college. There is a lot of club in my college which give us chance to explore more about our hobbies.If someone wants to learn dance then there is a dance club and if anyone want to learn coding then there is also a coding club in our campus.
Admission
If any one interested to take admission in BIT, MESRA, then he/she have to qualify JEE MAINS examination with good rank and which is held by NTA. Application form is available on NTA website and this form will be open twice in a year. Approximate cutoff of jee mains exam is 90 percentile for general,75 percentile for OBC/EWS, 65 percentile for SC and 40-45 percentile is for ST... The eligibility criteria for this entrance examination is you have to clear your class 12th.Application form fee for MALE in general/ OBC/EWS is 1000 and for FEMALE in general /OBC/EWS is 800 and for SC/ST the application form fee is 500 rupees.
