I had chosen mechanical engineering as mechanical engineers can opt for both tech as well as non tech companies. We can also give UPSC that circuital branches such as Computer Science engineers cannot opt for. The branch is good as it teaches to how to design a machines, cars etc, Everyday new low cost and more efficient machines are required which is why this branch is beneficial. The course curriculum is satisfactory. The teachers are very good and they are always there to help. The frequency of exams is little bit of overload as there are two quizes and one mid sem and end sem. It would have been better if there was one quiz and one assignment so there would be less pressure of exams

Tution fees every year increase by 25 percent. Although with such high tution fees the college does not provide with enough facilitie as we were told before admission. After 1st year each student was supposed to be alloted single room but here I am going to complete 4th semester still in sharing rooms. the rooms are also very small to accomodate 2 people there is no space to walk. The hostel and mess are not that good according to the charges. Sometimes the food is not upto the mark. Scholarship is given only to students with cgpa 9.5. Its not that easy to score such cgpa. This year there was recession still 78 percent students of my branch got placed the highest package was 28 lpa. Most of yeh students got palced as data analysts or got job in core company.

The campus here is beautiful but the events can be better such as timings of events. DJ nights starts here at 5:30 evening and ends at 8 o'clock. It should start and end little. Starting tome should be around 7 pm and should end at 10 o'clock. Bitotsav is the largest event held here.festivals such as Saraswati puja, holi etc are also organised The central library contains books of various authors.It contains all the books of your needs. Only one suggestion that if library coluld be kept open for late nights during exams it would be helpfull for students There is smartboard and projectors in every classrooms so every topic the teacher explains can be shown visually through projectd videos. There is enough opportunity of sports loke football basketball volleyball javelin discuss throw shotput lawn tennis etc. There are seperate gym facilities for both boys and girls There are many clubs like firebolt EDC PSOC, Rotract, IEEE etc, according to your interest

I had given jee mains and then by josaa councelling I was given this college. I had filled the application form online and my application fees was Rupees 500. I am Scheduled Caste but there is no benefits in fees. In other NITs and IITs the scheduled castes and tribes do not have to give tution fees but in my college I have to pay as general. The exam timings and satisfactory. Only one suggestion that if there was a day gap between the exams during end semesters then it would have been better beacuse you have to revise 5 modules together. The college official site can be improved as it sometimes throws error during fee payment and displays message that you have not paid after payment, otherwise overall its good
