Best marine college in India.

Our college is the best college for a marine field. Earlier it was under Bits planes program but not as per the government all colleges are under Imu now. You can see the standard of our college that even Bits got attached to it.

I gave Tmisat . i scored 78 out of 100 in Tmisat. I selected this college beacuse it is the best marine college in India.

This course is very wide and good. Basically we learn here Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics as well as the hands on skills in workshop. We do Loyds welding as well as boiler watch keeping also. Various modular courses like fire fighting also done here.

Yes, our college provides internship at the PVD ship in the campus for those companies selected students who don't get internships with the companies. Most the companies coming here, on the other hand, provide internships in the fourth year first or second semester depending upon their policies.

Placements here are very good. Job opportunities are best here than any other college in India for the marine field. Prestigious shipping companies like Maersk, Chevron, Teekay tankers, Nyk line , Stena etc come here for recruiting the cadets here and providing the better opportunities for the future.

Carious events are celbrated in our college like- Sports day meet , Freshers, Horizon fest, Cricket football and all other games as per the schedules etc. There are various special field artists also visiting here in our campus to provide better evening and enivironment for the cadets so that they are able to live upto their hobbies a swell.

Fes sturcture are quite high as per the recent batch here. For the recent batch of the marine engineering the exact 4 years fee estimate is nearly 19 lacs . So this is quiet high but after getting placements here and the repuation of this college this can be easily be covered by earning handsome salary in this field.

Our college provide better scholarship according to the rank we get. 40 thousand is the maximum per semester that a student can get here and further it gets reduces on the basis of the rank here.

There are many boys and very less quantity gilrls. This is due to the the merchant navy field which results in very less number of gurls here. Diversity is good students from all over India come here to study. Some students also from outside India are also studying here.

Hostel facilities are good here. Double sharing rooms are available for the cadets here. Mess food here is also good daily in nite both veg and nom veg options are available for the cadets to eat except the Tuesdays. Lunch and breakfasts are best here and refreshing.

Seniors here are helpful in studies as well as the personality development. They help in overall development and make the cadets coming from home tought so that they would be abke to face the sea in their sailing times.

Exam structure is good here. Level of examinations are also good. As in under bits planes course level is high. For the imu examinations, outside invigilator, as well as the practical faculties, come here like boards pattern. The practicals examinations did here also very wide and after doing the practicals student is able to get the exact overview of the machines.

I filled online application form of Tmisat. Then i gave Tmisat by coming to the campus here in Pune. Then i scored 78 then i was eligible for interviews. After clearing the interviews i was asked to give medical examination. I was totally fit after medical examination to get the admission in TMI.

Faculties here are very good and approachable. Mostly chief engineers as well the captains teach us. They are very knowledge-based persons and teach us with the very good environment and examples and make us aware of the experiences that we may face later on in our sailing period.
