Awesome crowd and faculty

As a remark, i would say MAIT is a nice college. I myself left ICE of NSIT and went for IT in MAIT. As you would hear from management quota students, MAIT secures the most expensive seats among all of IPU colleges. I am satisfied.

I took IPU CET to get admitted into GGSIPU affiliated colleges. We don't get the marks in result, but we get the rank in CET. I was ranked 1527 . And i was able to claim IT in 3rd round of online counselling session.

The course curriculum is not good. The syllabus has not been updated since for a long time. The college has a good name in Delhi, but it fails to offer the quality expected by the students. Though the faculty is helpful as well as experienced,

I'm currently in first year. So i don't have idea regarding the internship programs. But as i hear from seniors in my society, the college does not offer internship. Student has to refer the firms themselves and therefore stipend depends on the talent and experience of the applicant.

In IPU, MAIT secures the topmost position. This is because it has a name of having 100% placements. I cannot deny the fact but i can say that i am disappointed. The mass recruiters (INFOSYS, WYPRO, ACCENTURE) takes almost 70% of college. The average package being 3.5-4 LPA . The other companies visiting are big wigs like AMAZON, ION TRADING, etc. The highest package offered was 10.5 lacs by Amazon. The CSE and IT students have almost 100% placements. I don't have idea about other branches.

The annual and cultural festival of MAIT is for name sake. There ain't no fest at all. Almost 90% of college is absent on fest days. The cultural fest of IPU ( as whole ) called ANUGOONJ is literally awesome and happens on large scale because of the size of university and colleges under it.

The Fee at any IPU college is very feasible and worth it. Mait takes 1.15 lacs in first year which is even lesser than many Government colleges in India. Though USICT is still ahead with 80k for first year. The fee in ipu for first year goes in 2 installments. First 40k when the online counseling process takes place And then at the college visit after the counselling where you'd have to submit 75k in college

I don't have any clue about the loan or scholarship facility by the college because it's only been one year since my admission.

Campus life is incredible. The crowd at mait is comparative to DU. This is because there are many courses offered in the same campus. The people in Mait are those who have secured top ranks and for that reason you won't see any troublemakers or bullies in the campus. Sexual ratio at B.TECH courses is not good. It's roughly about 1 girl to 12 boys. But MBA, LLB, and other courses have much more greater ratio which leads to compensating of the ratio in campus as whole.

Seniors, as i have encountered, are very supportive. As i said people at mait are top rankers , they also have a sense of passion in them which they give you when you talk to them. I haven't heard about any famous Alumnus of MAIT but that doesn't hurt because there is no lack of passion in crowd which might be the reason of me becoming one the famous alumni.

The labs are of 2 hours everyday. The college is of 5 days a week. And 5 subjects have labs. So lab take place each day. They were not chilled out. You would have to try very hard to grasp concept and procedure and perform the experiment. Exams were long and hectic There are 7 exams on alternative days ( generally) Which leaves you hating your college after they end.

1) For admission procedure, first process was choice filling where a student fills a hierarchy according to his/her choice of college and respective branches in which he desires to get admitted 2) further, an online counseling session is held.. Where the university offers you the branch and college according to your rank and remaining seats 3) when the seat is offered and claimed online, you would have to visit college offered along with your identity proofs and mark sheets of 12th & 10th and other important docs 4) in mait , the process is done in the auditorium and the remaining fee of 75k is also charged

Faculty in mait has been outstanding in 1st year. Teachers are very professional and helpful. They do not favour any student and are very firm in offering marks in labs and internals. You cannot expect them to give you 25/25 if have not attended each and every class and lab and have not submitted files on time , even once.
