The moto of our college is "Gyanam anantam"which means knowledge is endless.

As mining engineering is the best course in this college I chose it in Odisha, there are only two government engineering colleges which are located in Keonjhar and Kalahandi. As I am from Jaipur which is a mining and industrial area, mining engineering is the best scope for us to get placed. The minimum qualification for the faculties should be mtec in the subjects which they should teach us. There are 8-semester examinations which are to be done every 4,5 months of intervals and 16 internals to be done, where each semester includes two internals. Your tuition fee may be 29000/year for every stream.

Our college provides internship durations for the students internship which will be good for the students during the placement seasons. Many companies such as coal India, OMC Ltd, etc. gave offer for internships.

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Aditya Birla, Rungta steels Ltd, idfco, Vedanta,tata steels, Adani , coal India etc. visit our college each year for placements. Each year nearly 40% of students gets placed in the placement sections. After getting degree is should do my mtech.

The tution fee for each branch is about 29000/year. In our college there Is a scholarship section where you can get information about the types of scholarships available and you can also apply the scholarships there. Mainly most of the students apply the State scholarship which is 20000 for general category students and 70000 for sc/st.

Each year there is a annual fest held in the month of April which is named as "Utkarsh" and each branch organize their different fests according to their suitable time. Our college have a library containing a wide range of books from engineering to basic humanities etc. Our college classes are smart classes and each class have smart boards and sound systems. And for different engineering subjects we have different labs and workshops. Our college have different clubs such as dance club , robotics club and sports club and photography club etc.

Our college have 4 hostels where 2 hostels for first year girls and boys. And 2 hostels for boys and girls of 2,3,4 th yr . Hostels for boys and girls are separated. . In hostels 3 students can live in each room having 3beds and 3 shelfs and 3 plugs and 3fans . . The food quality of hostel is good and there is a breakfast,lunch and a dinner for each day ,both veg and non veg are available according to the students requirements. . Each year for registration in hostel a notice is displayed in the college website where you have to apply you application and according to the students cgpa the list will be displayed. . For nearby PG or room their prices may varies from 1500-2000 and for food their prices may be from 3000-4000.

For admission in this college you should have atleast passed the 10th and 12th with minimum mark of 60 percentage, and you should have qualified the jee or ojee with minimum of 70 percentile. As this college is under the board of Biju Pattnaik University of technology so ,you have to apply you application form at bput web side. yes, there is some reservations for sc/st and handicapped persons etc. Here you have to face 8 semesters in 4 year in the interval of 4,5 month of each sem . And each semester includes 2 intenals. The question are slightly difficulty as compared to other exams. As an engineer you should improve you teachnical skill as well as your study these are the areas where you should focus.
