- I liked people who were all background and get here to have fun and also do something with their life.
- Fests are just amazing, we have so much fun during those times
- I liked the infrastructure buildings are near by, since the campus is 300 acres but still everything is built quite good
Dislikes
- Some professors are quite old fashioned and strict i dont like that
- You could find snakes here they just climb up your hostel walls sometimes
- 75 percent attendance rules and also studying all subjects in first year rule
Course Curriculum Overview
Well i am in first year right now, it doesnt feel much relevance since we are studying all the different shbjects in this year. But still since my branch is artificial intelligence which is pretty cool and curriculum is really good and the faculty members are also very good and helpful
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities are really good, internships are really important for a student because they give us an idea about our actual job kinda like a prep job and everything. Our college provides really good opportunities for internships and all
Placement Experience
I am in first year so i dont have much info about the placements as such.but before joining i researched and the placements looked good. I saw three people got around 50lpa or something. And 100% placements for my department. Being an AI engineer i feel like we are gonna have some pretty decent jobs
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is as follows it is yearly around 2.5 lakhs i guess including hostel and mess. You have a lot of scholarships program here, and if u have financial problems you dont have to pay tuition fees and even hostel mess you dont have to pay. Since it is a govt college fees is comparably low then private college and but the college is really good
Campus Life
The campus life is really great, i was afraid of ragging in the first sem, but to my surprise there was none and seniors are soo good and helpful. There are a lot of clubs who will be conducting the events throughout the year and once u get to second year u get to be in those clubs and do all sorts of projects and stuff. The fests are just mindblowing.
Hostel Facilities
First year we stay three people in one room, in second year it is double sharing but from third year you get single sharing rooms. The hostel conditions just keep on increasing per year, i meant first year hostels are a lil old and not that good but the final year hostels are just gold.
Admission
The whole admission process was done through josaa platform. It was smooth most of the time. Cutoff for NITK will be quite high since it is the top NIT, i got a little help because of the state quota and all.
