THE SUCCESS OF JOINING NITK

The course curriculum of my branch very well designed in the National Institute of technology Surathkal karnataka.It involves all the concepts to be learnt as a engineer. In the 1st year everyone learn the same concepts that every student soud know irrespective of his branch whic includes subjects from each and every branch. Since course concentrates on the practical as well as theoretical aspects we can learn moore things in this environment so I choose this course. It gives knowledge about all real world pproblems faced and makes us to think how to solve it. since it is centrally funded college of national importance the course curriculum and teaching methods are very well designed so no need of any changes The examination is a continuos evaluation process where it depends o our performance throughout the semester not only any particular exam and also the difficult level of the paper is very high so that everyone tries to learn the background of each topic.

since I am a 1st year student I am not doing any internship right out but the opportunities are very good and many companies offer internships and offer pre placement offer also during the internships and it accepts for wide variety of roles based on the requirement since the students here are capable of doiny anything

the college has very good placement statistics since it is the top institute of india and students are eligible for placements from their end of 6th semester while they can also get PPO's earlier also. many companies visited are google, microsoft, adobe, JSW, wipro, accenture and many more almost the placement rate of the college is around 90 percent which means most of them are placed the highest pacake last year was 54 LPA last year my plans are to get placedin a good company

The fees structure is normal that is not too high or too low.And for the weaker sections of the society people there are schemes offered by the college inspite of the government schemes and also it provides financial aid to all students based on their economical status. our educational cost is around 2,00,000 per annum including everything but for those whose family income is less they are not required to pay any fee only the hostel fee needs to be payed. based on the merit and economic status many schemes are available since I am in the 1st year I have not done any internships yet till do in the 2nd year

the campus life is very beautiful which is located near the sea shore and it alo have its own private beach the annual fests that are held very grandly are the ENGINEER the largest technical fest and INCIDENT which i the asia's largest cultural fest and many more events takes place . there are all types of facilities in the college including technological and other well advanced equipments for the research of students and sports competitions are held very regularly and there are nearly 25 clubs in the college naming few such as ACM,IEEE,IE,IET,KV,FARC,ROBOTICS,NITK RACING,HESC,E-CELL.NITK-STEP and others

in the room we are provided with 1 cot , 1study table, 1 chair, one books rack, onw wardrobe , one shoe stand separtely for each individual person and in a room 2 people stay in the same room. the mess menu is good whic consists of variety of dishes everyday and mess menu keeps on changing hostel registration was done alomg with college admission which was all the online process through the college own website created by students of same college

The admission process to the National institute of technology Surathkal, Karnataka was through one of the national entrance test examination that is JEE-MAINS.To join in the national institutes that is NIT's one should first clear the jee main entrance examination and should secure a very good and top rank.Since National institute of technology Surathkal Karnataka is the 2nd top NIT in India, getting into this college was very difficult. The application form was released in the official NTA website for the exam where I applied for the examination and the application fees of exam was 1000 rs.The exam conducted in the year 2023 in 2 months that is january and april. I did not get any reservation benefits for admission into this college. The exam was conducted in 2shifts january and april where 900000 people appeared for the exam and since it is admission to one of the top institutes paper was very difficult The metod of paper conduction is well and fine since it involves normalization.
