- Classrooms and infrastructure of the building in which classes are held
- there is a beach inside the campus which is very good
- the location is very good, mangalore and udupi are close
Dislikes
- campus is away from mangalore city, like it takes 40 minutes to reach mangalore
- hostels are way too old, they need to get renovated
- no floodlights are there in the main ground, so there is nowhere to play in night
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses in first year are basically an extension of what students read in 12th grade. there is also a program specific course for every branch in the college, which is very useful for the students in coming semesters.Exams happen quite frequently with 2 quizzes, midsem and endsems.you are ot gonna learn anything from the class, youtube always helps. But the teachers provide you the notes and books.
Internships Opportunities
there are internships available from 3rd year. there are companies like tata and several local copanies that hire people for internships.But because i am first year i dont have enough knowledge regarding this.
Placement Experience
placements are expected to be less due to less number of= companies visiting due to current situation. But still copanies like samsung, qualcomm, nvidia visisted our campus.the average package stood abou 1800000
Fees and Financial Aid
there has been no hike in fees since i joined the college. the complete cost of a unreserved male is about 9 lakh in four years. All types of scholarships are available, with all the documents required, you can easily get scholarships
Campus Life
There are basically two fests, technical fest in december and cultural fest in march. both are good. The central library is very good. we also get a e library. the amount of books we have is very good. there are many sports like football, cricket,kho kho,athletics etc.. there is a con that you have to be good in a specific field in order to get into a club
Hostel Facilities
hostels are very clean, but are old. there is a seepeage. we get a lan port,2-3 sockets 3 tables in first year for a room of 3. the meals provided are so,so. some days it is good, otherwise its bad. the hostel registration is done immediately after admission process is completed.
Admission
I entered the college after getting rank around 10000 in jee mains. i got into college through csab counselling. after counselling, we needed to report at a specific date. on that day we were required to be at the campus for the whole day, the process was very tiring and lengthy.
