Course and curriculam of the college is based on our old fashioned engineering syllabus.they take 4 CA nd 2 pca internal exams for grading.generally if u have good attendence then you will get better marks

Here you will be eligible for placement after 6th sem.companies like tcs,wipro,cognizent, infosysis and many service based company.here you will get job easipy after your graduation .no one will be unemployed over here .everyone get atleast a job.here the highest package is something like 14 lpa nd average package is something like 3.5 lpa.highest package is offered by icici bank

When i took admission in my btech course...at that time ,we need to pay 3.66 lakhs for four year course excluding hostel fee.nowadays heavily fee increment is done by the college authority.they charge something like 5.12 lakhs tution fees for 4 years..if you are from bengal,u will get 60k scholership per year but you just have to get more than 6 cgpa in every semester without any backlog.there is no scholership nd financial add for other state student

Our college organise tech fest as well as cultural fest every year....they generally organise it in the month of january or april.you dont need to buy any book for your btech course. book related to your course should be provided by the college authority through central library.here is good opportunity for playing outdoor games.you can play over there

To be eligible in getting admission in btech courses of DR Bc roy engineering college durgapur,u must have passed your 12th board examination with PCM having no percentage criteria.after that ,just appear in wbjee,got rank under 30k for getting admission into cs/it.if u dont appear for wbjee or you dont have good ranks then you can also get admission through management quota.they generally charge 3 to 4 lakh for a seat in cs/it department.there is no reservation for other state student
