Course Curriculum Overview
My course is B. Com honours which is a much demanded and preferred course in Delhi University. I had keen interest in business world, that's why I opted this course. It's upon your interested which course you opt. And B. Com Honours is a much specialised course in terms of accounting, business studies, Statistics, etc. So it gives you a lot of knowledge in depth.
Internships Opportunities
In terms of internships, our college regularly offers many internship opportunities, also internship fairs are organised, many descent companies come here in our college. And our college keeps us updated on the website about it.
Placement Experience
For placements a student needs to be in final year i.e. third year. And placement cell is very active in our college so you need to be updated with the placement programmes going on in the college. Our college offers a decent placement and packages
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of Delhi University is much nominal than any private university as it's a public University. But still you will get many scholarship programmes while studying in the college. Also, as Delhi University is the topmost university in the country, many good companies come here for campus placements, it depends upon your own calibre what placement you get. So focus on your skills and personality.
Campus Life
My college has a very good campus environment. Approx 20 clubs and societies are there in my college. And all those are very active. Regular fests and fairs are organised by them. And also in terms of sports, our college has excelled. Sports tournaments also takes place here.
Admission
I gave CUET UG exam to get admission into Delhi University. After exams we got a raw score which got normalised. After normalization, I got my final score and then we had to apply for the particular university in which I applied in Delhi University. In the admission process we needed to fill a preference sheet according to our preference of course plus college combinations. Then I got selected in Dyal Singh college in first round of seat allocation. Then I had an option of freezing or upgrading the college, so i opted for upgradation but didn't got my college upgraded in further rounds of admission. And the difficulty level of CUET exam is moderate and it takes place once a year after the board exams.
