What Students Say

Likes

Things I like most in the university that is classic classroom.
In every floor water purifier is present.
University is neat and clean and a lot of staffs are present to clean the floor.

Dislikes

Social life is very much disappointed. No cultural events is happens.
Less opportunity for strong Carrier build-up.
Placement ratio is not so good. No decent library room.

Course Curriculum Overview

I take addmission in Electrical Engineering. Electrical Engineering is the hardest trade of all the trade studied here. Teacher teaches the course very carefully, so it will help students to understand the topic and build a strong foundation in their own trade.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure for 4 year is almost 48k . But our university provide a decent scholarship to everyone student. Minority students get MCM scholarship and Non-minority students get SVMCM scholarship through Aykoshree portal . 60k is provided every year as a scholarship money.

Campus Life

Campus Life is not so cool. If someone came here only focusing on their study than he or she can definitely get a good environment but if someone came here to enjoy then he or she may be disappointed. Cultural and social life of the university is not so good.

Admission

For addmission in Aliah University, one exam will be conduct, named AUAT ( Aliah University Admission Test). I take addmission through AUAT for Lateral BTECH . Almost 20 seats are available in every trade. Exam difficulty is moderate to tough.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Masters in Aliah University is not for everyone
