Course Curriculum Overview
Interesting factor to choose this course is due to seeing parents in this background for long and had it's affects in influencing me. This curriculum prepares one for any situation to face. Mainly the course schedule is a bit hectic having all 7 subjects in 1st sem. Exams are conducted twice in a sem additional to them twice quizzes were conducted in between. Faculty mostly are good.
Internships Opportunities
Google company role offered as software developer with stipend of 20000. It is a socio economic app developed in collaboration with many other students. Internship was in bangalore. All the expenses for food are inclusive
Placement Experience
From 5thsemester students are offered in campus internships and from 7 th semester they get ready for placements. Many Mnc's like google, Microsoft, oracle, wipro, prestige etc visit for offering placements. 65% of the students get placed. My plan is to go for further studies after btech
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no hike in tu tuition fees. Mostly it almost costs 200000 per year in the campus. Scholarships are available from side of college like concession for sc/st students, ews category students and those whose anual income is below 5 lacks
Campus Life
There are two fests Engineer- tech fest and Incident which is cultural fest. There are two libraries e-library and central Library where books are available in both online and offline mode. Classrooms are both digital and manual depending on requirement. Many sports facilities provided for all types of sports. Many clubs such as ncc, genisis, music, ddfc and many more which develop and bring out skills I students
Hostel Facilities
Room is provided with double sharing. Beds and study table and chair are provided with a cupboard. Mess quality is okay. There is diff menu for each day in a week.Registration of hostels is simple and online. And hostels are also affordable
Admission
Admission process was smooth. Application is online through csab.Cutoff for jee mains is 97 for civil engineering branch in Nitk for under girls category.Eligibility is to get required percentile in jee mains. Jee mains has duration of 3 hours. And it is moderately to difficult in range of exam. Admission process is fine online but the manual admission is bit confusing and there are guides from college during the process but its not one to one process. So everyone couldn't access that option
