Remarks

Well, I would not suggest you take admission in this college.you can take this college if its the only option left. The new director is really bad and doesn't know anything and wants to convert the college into jail. he ruined the environment of the college. You can enroll here if you want to focus only on studies.

Entrance Preview

Well, I had no other choice. I wanted to pursue Btech in IT and had a college in mind but at last moment due to some unavoidable circumstances, I couldn't take admission there. HMR faculty boasted a lot about their Abroad Programs and I fell into their trap hoping that it was a good opportunity and I took admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is very basic according to the current level of the market. you need to take extra coaching for new technology if you want to land a decent job. Machine learning is in 8th sem for use students and the syllabus bearly covers the topic. You have to forcibly study subjects which are not even native subjects of your stream. If you compare your course curriculum to any other university then you'll get to notice a vast difference.

Internships Opportunities

The college itself doesn't provide any sort of internships. Students have to put efforts from their side to find an internship. They just want money from students and find ways to extract money from us! Students end up on websites like internshaala.com or awign.com to get an internship.

Placement Experience

2

Some companies come for placement in college and our college has a placement cell. But the placement process has become centralized in IPU so if you have percentage more than the required cutoff than you are free to sit in any college interview. The college used to boost its 98% placement record but honestly, the placements are so bad that students choose not to take them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

FEE Structure is OK OK. It's INR 95000 for me for one year and increases every year for new batches. You should prefer other colleges even if the fees are a bit high as I would never recommend you to take admission in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although there are many govt. scholarships that are provided and college does put up notice for them. You have to fill a form and submit that to college.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

there is no hostel in the college. There's barely 5 acres of land and the mess food is ok. But not that hygienic and I would recommend day students to bring their own lunch at home food is the best food. You can get PG nearby but that too in the village. and this college is in a remote area so be careful in choosing your PG.

Alumni/Alumna

WEll, all my seniors were very helpful and friendly and that's the only good thing about this college.NO one actually cares what you do in college anyway.

Admission

I filled out the form of (BTECH)common entrance test of GGSIP University at their site. Your account gets created and all the procedure is online. The result of the test is also displayed there. After getting rank, you are supposed to register at their site and then online counselling is done. There are three rounds in total and you have to fill out your preference of course and colleges in each round. Once your form is submitted the cutoff is released and if your rank is eligible with respect to cutoff you automatically get the seat according to your preference. then you have to pay 40000 university fees. If you want to take admission in that college then you freeze the seat otherwise you can go to next round. But once you go to next round the seat you got earlier cannot be taken again. After the third round, there is a sliding round in which if u have got a seat in some college lets say IT in HMR and you have a higher preference of CSE in the same college, if the seats are available in CSE then your seat gets slid to CSE. God forbid you still don't get admission in any of the three rounds then there is a slot round where a lot seats are available.

Faculty

3

The faculty of the college is mostly newcomers and they don't have any particular field. They are given a random subject and are told to teach the students. Although they put a lot of effort into understanding the subject and then teach us. Some of the teachers are really experienced while others don't know anything. Some teachers are somewhat partial and give marks in internals according to their will.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
