A Good College with good faculty and moderate placements

The college management is helpful and receptive to your doubts and worries. The management comprises mostly of the faculty members themselves so one can ask them about anything anytime. Therefore the students also feel strongly supported and motivated every time.

The course curriculum is set by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and gives emphasis on the basic concepts of your course. Every subject is molded in a way of a story from start to end if you go through it wholeheartedly. There were subjects such as Microprocessors, Database management, Operating systems, Computer Architecture etc.

The internship period is after one finishes his/her the third year and is generally for a period of 2 months (or as decided by the RTU for that particular year). The college doesn't provide any assistance in this internship period and one has to find an internship on his own by applying online in multiple MNCs. Apart from this, one can also go for internships in between your academic year by taking NOC from the principals.

The placements are of moderate level as you get offers up to 3-4 lakhs depending on the companies that come for on-campus placement drives. You can surely apply separately for other companies to give walk-in interviews and off-campus drives. The most known company visiting the college for my branch is Cybage Software PVT Ltd.

There are two major events celebrated in the college - Quasar and Basant. Quasar is a sports fest celebrated in the month of September-October for a period of 4-5 days. Basant is a cultural-tech fest organized in the month of April for a period of 3-4 days. These fests are sometimes held as inter-college fests as well. It is mandatory for the students to take part in these fests as they are also evaluated based on the number of events they take part in and the position which they secure and these are essential for developing a complete student.

The fee structure is very much feasible for every student belonging to any family background. The total fees for the 4 years will round about to 4-4.5 lakhs. There are also some benefits given to students belonging to some sections of the society. The information about these benefits would be available on the website.

As explained earlier, the college focuses on all round development of the student and has made participation in co-curricular activities and sports a mandatory part in the student's academic term in each year. There are also different clubs and associations which one can join including IEEE, IETE, IEI, ACM, NSS etc. These clubs also conduct there own annual days, workshops, talk shows and even college trips every year.

The final exam to be held by the Rajasthan Technical University is of 80 marks and the rest 20 marks are awarded based on the average score calculated by the two sessional exams taken by the college during the academic term. For the sessionals, you will also be evaluated for your assignments and attendance during your course.

One has to apply online by filling up the application form and entering your exam scores as per the exams you have given. The college accepts scores of JEE Advance, JEE Mains, Rajasthan CET. After you successfully submit your application, there will be a call informing you about your counselling dates and all the documents and other essentials required at the time of counselling that you have to present for your admission to the course of your choice.
