Entrance Preview
This college has everything a student dreams of - amazing faculty, good food, well equipped labs , libraries and sports rooms, great festivals to enjoy in, access to the whole of Delhi University, a prime location ( North Campus) and a diverse peer group.
Internships Opportunities
Well, because the college offers more core courses, internship opportunities are hard to find. Yet, people from commerce and humanities background get a handful of opportunities, science people are not at par with them. Most of the internships are of short duration, so usually unpaid but they equip you with great experience.
Placement Experience
The college has a fully devoted placement cell, but again, there are ample opportunities for students except for the science lot. However, more than 80% of people opt for further studies and government sector jobs. And the college is a top priority at both the higher educational institutions and government agencies. To be honest, only the name is enough and also it increases expectations from you as a candidate.
College Events
Tempest, the annual cultural festival (one of the best in DU), celebrated for 2-3 days. Each and every department have their own departmental fests. Then there are various societies which have their own fests. Also, there are celebrations on various occasions like Diwali, Holi etc. And very well celebrated founders day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
FEASIBLE. Since this is a government college, you'll find the most feasible fee structure. It costs you somewhere between 12-15 thousand per annum which includes all your costs like library charges, sports equipment fees etc.(for day scholars) There is a different department which looks after Hostel fees and all. The fee payment is to be done online once a year.

There are a lot of scholarships available. Some of these are by the university (Inspira) while some are provided by the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel of Miranda House has been named as a Cultural Heritage site for it's beautiful infrastructure. It is the best hostel in Delhi University. The food is never compromised upon anything be it taste or nutrition. There is every facility available and you don't have to do anything of your own. The fee for the hostel is nearly 80K per annum.
Alumni/Alumna
Great Alumni network. Also, an alumni meet takes place frequently. You could find students from here excelling in every field. And, there is a great communication among students of all years with everyone helping each other.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is also in accordance with Delhi University.All courses are of 3-year term. There is semester system with two semesters consisting of one year of your study, and hence 6 semesters in all. Also there is regular internal assessment which consists of class tests, viva, and marks for attendance. The structure is not at all hectic, leaving you with a lot of time to focus on other things. And according to university guidelines one is awarded ECA marks and flexible class attendance.
Admission
The candidate has to apply through a common admission form for Delhi University available at official website www.du.ac.in. After the declaration of CBSE results, every college releases its separate merit based cut-off. If the candidate has required marks as per cut-off, he/she needs to mark their physical presence along with all required documents at the college. Once the paper work is done, the fee has to be paid online.
Faculty
This college boasts of the best faculty around. And being a student of this prestigious institution, I can assure you that this is true. The faculty is not only knowledgeable but also holds immense experience.
