The college is good at its level, fees for the college is high, Faculty satisfying, placements are not so good for electrical, infrastructure could be better.
Entrance Preview
The college is autonomous and as well as government. The college is included in top engineering colleges of Maharashtra and placements at this college for CS and it departments are really good. As I am From Wardha and the best engineering college that I could get from my marks was this college. this college is satisfactory but not that best. Students from other cities like Sangli Nanded also come to this college.
Internships Opportunities
No internships are provided by the college. But there are many alumni associations which provide internships for students. alumni NGOs like SPANDAN provides internships and scholarships to students
Placement Experience
The placement rate at this college is really low. The number of companies coming to the college is really low from 3-5 companies. And they select only 5-7 students for all. The starting payments are from 3 lack and maximum up to 7.5 lack for the electrical branch.in short, this College does not give us the surety to be placed.but for computer department and IT department the placements are good.
College Events
The college conducts many events but main events that College conducts zenith cultural event and prajwalan tech fest event which is central India's biggest tech-fest event.students from all over Maharashtra take parts in this event. other events are also conducted in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I belong to OBC category the fees for OBC is 60000 rs per year and about 5000rs increases each year for upcoming batches.75 thousand rupees is the fees for OPEN and 2550 and 1200 rs fees for SC and ST categories respectively. OBC candidates receive 30000 rs as scholarship. Effective fees for OBC category is 30 thousand.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility is offered by the college. SBI branch gives education loan for the college. Scholarships like Siemens are also provided for the students.
Hostel Facilities
There are 2 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls. College costs 150rs per year as hostel fees. student intake is 60 and 12 students are taken for electrical branch.2 seats for PWD students. the new hostel is ready and will start soon and is in good condition. hostel mess is not good. It costs 1500 per month for the mess. The mess is average.
Alumni/Alumna
Many alumni students are connected to the college.there is an alumni association which plans alumni and students interactive workshops and are very helpful for students.
Exam Structure
In one semester 3 exams are taken. named CT1,CT2 and semester exam.the CT1 exam is of 15 marks and endsem exam is of 60 marks.there are 10 marks for the teacher assisment and it depends on the student's behavior .scoring marks at the end semester is hard. But a student can easily score good marks in CT as it is taken on a small portion.
Admission
The addimission process for this college was on the merit list. I was appeared for the CET exam and got 124 marks in CET.there was no other exam taken for the addimission.at first I did registration on the dtemaharashtra website and also filled form on that website. The college was then allotted to me.for the addimission only original leaving certificate was taken.and no after filling admission fees I was admitted to the college. The admission staff was helpful. Antiragging certificate was signed by me.
