- I liked the campus environment firstly, it is an greeny campus covered by trees.
- And then the faculties were very friendly and supportive.They are always focus on the students into the studies
- I liked that here is no restrictions like, no girl to boy speaking and not use mobile phones, wear formals etc..
Dislikes
- I think they should improve the rules that the students are bunk the classes and goes out easily .so this should be rectify
- I didn't like the food in the canteen. It is not upto mark to the cost ,there is two main canteens available and the cost is slightly high.
- And the last thing I should tell to improve is the timetable. There are 5 to 6 classes per week has library and mentor hour , which is need to changed
Course Curriculum Overview
The course information technology is very good and they have customise the syllabus compactly and added technical subjects such as design thinking and fab lab which tells about the steps to make an protype and how to start a startup business. They should improve the timetable as of now in 1st year there are many unusual periods like library hour and mentor hour.
Internships Opportunities
There is an internship available for students. Mostly are programming internships and softskills internships.If you are ready to take any internships ,then you only need to working on it. As of now I am in the 1st year so I didn't know the companies offering the internships.
Placement Experience
I am studying 1st year only so I didn't clever about the placements. But there is placement cell and entrepreneurship club. As of now I heard that from the 6th semester onwards the students are eligible for placements. Last month the placements held for core departments students there the indigo,tata motors, Hyundai companies are came and recruit the students. Mostly IT companies are more come to placements like TCS,Zoho,Wipro, cognizant, Infosys, Accenture,samsung,HCl solutions like many companies are recruited the students. As of I know that the average package offered by these companies are 4 to 5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is change as per the department you choose .The core departments like eee,mech and civil are have comparatively less fees than the computer engineering, IT,Aids,and Aiml. In these various scholarships are available there would be scholarship for sports person and based upon you marks the scholarship will be given The cost of my course is 1.3lakhs per annum and from the 2nd year it will be reduced to 1.2 lakhs.
Campus Life
The campus life is very engaging and peaceful.It is a green fulled campus varies trees are there and canteens are available,the food was ok. The main thing is the library is very huge ,having four floors and thousands of books are installed. In library they installed AC and punched barcode for every books. If you have to taken any book to home , you have register in the vigilance office which is in the library. All the classrooms are very spacious and all the rooms have projector and screens. There are many sports clubs are available for cultural and sports. There is basketball court,cricket ground, football ground and tennis court was available and also horse riding also present. So if you are a sports person you are most welcomed.
Admission
I was scored 86%in my 12th and I am not get any college in tnea councelling so I decided to join in Hindustan institute ,first the application form is available in the HITS official website as you can apply it or else they conduct entrance exam based on that marks you will get full scholarship also,or directly management admission is quite easy process you çould fill the online form and based on your marks the fees will be reduced.For my course the full fees is 220000rupees but based on my marks I got 130000rupees scholarship. They conduct exam in every two months and at the end of the 5th month the semester will come and then the results will come in one month. They construt excellent syllabus and added many foundation courses like 'universal human values' and design thinking. So it is good place to study
