Our college is although under Nith as a parent organisation but after few years of construction work it will be shifted to una district of Himachal. So far our college is more than average both technically and culturally.

This college was though under construction but was under nit Hamirpur vision which is indeed a very reputed college. Nit Hamirpur was earlier Rec after which it became a nit. It's the most beautiful campus in India and is in Himachal Pradesh. I, therefore, was influenced to take admission in IIIT una which was indirectly nit Hamirpur with low rank.

Course curriculum is apparently controlled and guided by the nit Hamirpur curriculum. Students are just combined and classes are being attended with students in the same class. Students have same courses as nit Hamirpur students possess. Moreover, the campus and hostels are also same.

Yes, our college provides internship but it is not a paid internship. Rather it's a kind of research-based internship so students mostly prefer to do internship outside the college during summer break specially those who wants to do internship in an organisation or company.

Placements are average. Students are being placed with students. Companies sometimes don't allow IIIT una students. But most companies do allow both institutions to have a common placement drives. Since 2018 was the first batch, we have got 70% placement including CSE and ECE.

There are a number of events that are happened. With the start of the students have abhyudaya(hindi diwas), campus star followed by the mega event know as cultural festival called hill fair that goes for 3 consecutive days. In the even semester, we have technical festival known as nimbus. Moreover in both odd and even semester, there are many small cultural and technical events managed by several clubs formed by students.

Fee structure is average and feasible for those whose parents are earning and have good salary. Few students take loan from the bank to continue their studies and also government has several scholarship program provided to poor students as well as intelligent one.

Yes, many scholarship programs are being offered to the students who are undoubtedly poor and unable to pay their fees. Moreover bank loan facility is also provided.

Everything in campus is managed appropriately. Campus life is very interesting with outings of students upto 9:30pm. Gender ratio is though not equal as a root problem in India. Extracurricular activities, sports, and Various technical competition such as robowar debates are held on a regular basis.

Hostels are good and well maintained but mess food are not upto the mark. There must be proper diet rather providing the students same diet all the time. Cleanliness is maintained no doubt but breads(including chapattis) are bad. Students complaint are heard for few days and then again regular routine is being followed by mess workers.

This depends on students own communication network and the relationship of placement officer with alumni. Yes they are definitely helpful for their juniors.

Exam structure is very appropriate and is held twice a semester. Although students are supposed to give midsem and then final semester exam with 20 and 60 marks weightage respectively. Few class tests in each subjects are taken along with some assignments for rest 20 marks.

I got admission in this institute by online counselling process as decided by MHRD. There are several rounds where students opt their interested colleges with mentioned branch in hierarchical order of their preferences. Students with good rank get the respective colleges on the basis of their rank in jee main.

Faculties are selected by MHRD selection procedure though there is some advantages for Himachal teachers. Few teachers are more than disgusting and some may have knowledge but less deliverable talent of teaching. MHRD selects the faculties and lab assistant through proper procedure but sometimes few of them would have a good day to get selected.
