Good curriculum covering most topics of Electronics and Communication with option of choosing slight computer science topics as Electives. Contents not that much descriptive which should be improved. Overall faculties are good having good knowledge of the topics and are really helpful.

We had to do internship during our 6th semester, where I got a chance at Stesalit Limited. No stipend was offered to us. Generally companies dont come, student have to search themselves. Most students got chances for internship at Railways, BSNL, AAI etc. Generally companies dont give any stipend. Also some students on merit got chance to work at NMDC, Vedanta, BHEL, VECC, salt lake, DRDO etc.

Overall 100% placement happens with some students bagging 2-3 jobs. Major recruiters are Infy, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant. Startups and product based companies like AWB, Ericsson, NRI fintech, GE healthcare etc also recruit in good numbers.

Cultural and technical fest every year. Hosting IEEE paper submission event and also the NEN event week. Events are generally huge with venues being booked for hosting. Participation is seen from all over the bengal. For culturals best bands performs and enjoyment level is very high.

Little expensive costing total of 42000 per semester. Yearly around 90k it will be with some extra add on fees. Hostel fees are seperate and around 6-8k prr month including the food. Library and Soft skill fees are already included. Total cost for 4 years around 6.5 lacs including everything.

No good scholarship internally. Meritous students do get financial help by the director. Loans provided by the bank. External scholarships can be availed by the students and 100% support is given by the institute. State Banks easily provide the loans.

Campus life good with so much extra curricular activities like robotics, debates, drama, dance, sports. Girls are generally less, hostel parties for those who live by the seniors. No discrimination of any sort. No political affliations allowed.

Good network with the alumunus. In our time many seniors came to visit and are in touch. Have cell/groups for connecting through the alumunus constantly. Also each year an alumni meet is organised.

8 semesters. Each semester every 6 months. Each semester 2 internal exams of both theory and lab. Exams good have to study to pass and prepares well for the semesters final.
