There are more opportunities in electrical engineering department for students and this course helps in other competitive examinations also.Electrical engineering is very much use full in real world as electricity is the main source of energy and it is a clean source of energy without any much harm to the environment. There should be more practical knowledge and application of theory in real world activity and teaching method should conclude with more notes and put. There are 4 internals and 2 semester per year in our source and our exams doesn't overlap with any government exams. The exams are pretty decent with proper hardwork and guidance it's not that difficult to pass .

This college send the student to various companies such as Tata, OHPC and NALCO to do their internship and every student got 10000 per year as stipend. The student visit overall the company and study about the machines and do more real practical

From 7th semester student are eligible for campus placement. Various campus have visited this year like TATA power, NALCO ,VEDANTA etc and have placed a total of 32 students.The highest package was offered a annual package of 16 lakhs and average package is 4lakhs annual.40 to 50 percentage of students are get placed every year . My plans after getting this degree is to opt for civil services and appear for upsc.

This institution is operated under government of odisha and the tution fees are increases under government policy. The hikes of tution fees are not much regular and the rate of hike is really low. The source fees is 27,500 per year . Post matric scholarship which provide a amount of 20,000 per year.40 to 50 percent students get every year in various reputed companies

The annual festival held in the campus is known utkarsh and the technical fest held in the electrical department held is known as vidhyuttam.The are a wide range of books and journals written by various known author and journalist are available in our central library. Every classroom in the campus consist of smart boards and projectile systems which make studying real fun.Every sports in the campus are given importance like cricket , football, volleyball and badminton etc . For the extracurricular activities there is NCC and various camps are held inside and outside the campus every year .There is a college social group run by the students and also various clubs like robotics club , dance club etc which gives students some extra skills out off the course skill.

The hostel is generally good its clean and healthy. Cleaning in the hostel happens everyday. 3 students are accommodation in one single room with separate washroom and bathroom. There is 24 hours water supply. Aqua guards are in every corner of the hostel with refrigerator facility . And there is also a unlimited wifi facility with high speed internet connection for the students.The meal quantity is pretty decent you eat as much as you like . 3 meals are served everyday chich consist of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods. We can apply for hostel through the college website and the hostel is quit affordable as compare to other colleges they are way more costlier. I have never rented a room in the locality or in PG .

Eligibility of the is that the student must be a 12th pass with minimum 60% and should also have appeared on joint entrance examination or odisha joint entrance examination.The application form can be found in the college website.Resevation is only provided to certain categories like OBC ,ST and SC .The frequency are exam are pretty generous there are 4 internal and 2 semester exams each year .The admission process is pretty good but there should be an improvement for paper work and documents verification part.
