College life begins...

The course is well planned with curriculum. And competition is also tough enough because all smart brains assemble here in the IITs. And professors are also highly qualified with their degrees like PhD and even number of research scholars are there to help in reaching the professors with out any communication barrier. It is a nice experience studying here. I feel I am blessed to join this college because I am seeing real meaning of life here. Over all I have made the right choice I say.

Placements are good. And it depends on person efforts and interest. Placements team is organized by SCPT of our college. There should min cg required for students to sit in interviews for some company's and obviously placements are good as expected from IITs

Fee structure is printed upon a semester. And it depends on either monsoon or winter semester. However tuition fees constitutes more of 100000.and mess fees of 18000 and hostel fees is not there for us in IIT s. The complete cost per semester would be around 130000 approximately... there are numerous scholarships which eligible students can apply.But unfortunately I am not eligible for any kind of scholarships. But my friends applied for Reliance, Kotak Kenya, and mms and some others. We also have fee waiver in our college. We are the students in the college

The campus life in IITs is obviously so beautiful as expected. However this is the first and unseen experience as I am a first year student. The college have two big fests of which one is technical fest: Concerto and the other is cultural fest : Srijan. and no.of other small fest like film fest, parakram, and so on. Our campus has the central library which is Asia's second largest library. There are no.of books in library. Library has four floors. Of which complete fourth floor is dedicated to reading rooms. There are many clubs I our college which encourage all hidden talents of students. All these clubs are seen by Student Gymkhana. And Student Activity Center is dedicated to all club rooms. In SAC all clubs are allocated rooms.

Hostel are suffiencient and clean. Each room was accommodated with two cots and two study tables and two chairs. Each room is allocated to two students. Meal quality is Ok but not that nice as I am a South Indian, my tastes are not seen in this mess sometimes. But the items tastes so good sometimes. I am a foodie also . And for each semester, there are three grand dinners in which menu is so special. For week chicken is served thrice and egg is served twice and fish is served once.

Actually I didn't like the reservations system in this process. Talent should be encouraged and merit should be progressed. Due to reservations less talented students are getting better seats than more talented students. The admission process was held Online on Josaa. Which consists of 6 rounds. With 2 preceding mock rounds. It was held for a period one month. For this admission process student must have pass jee main exam with cutoff respective to one's category .www.josaa.nic. is the website. There are reservation benefits with categories. Jee advanced is the qualifying entrance test to get into IITs. Improvement is efficient enough. But I suggest maintaining time sense while releasing the results of rounds. This is the difficulty faced with the admission process. And refunds for cancelation should be quick enough like a week atleast. But it should not take a month or two months( if any)
