Campus placement facility by the university.
The environment of the university is very good and friendly
Hostel conditions is very good enough for living

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old and needed it's contruction
Management process is not good and it's need to be maintain.
I doesn't want to see any outsider in the campus. So, there must be strict rules.

Course Curriculum Overview

First I would rate my course 7 out of 10. So the aspects of this course that influenced me is that I love machines. Curriculum prepares me by practicing me in labs and making machines in the real world. The teaching methods are moderate .

Placement Experience

From 7th semester the student are eligible for getting placement in the company like RDC concrete, etc. Almost 50% of the student get placement and the average package is 5 LPA. My plans after getting the degree I want to go foreign.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee of this course is 54000 and there is no such hikes in the fee structure. The complete cost of the fee is 54000 and the semester charge will be 4k to 5k including fooding and lodging.Scholarships are also provided some of the names are NSP,SVMCM etc.Currently I have not undertaken any responsibility.

Campus Life

I an happy with my campus life. There is one major sports i. e football which is held every semester and some sports like cricket, badminton, volleyball ,etc also organised by university. Large amounts of books available in Libra.Grand fresher's organised every year by the university.There is one political group run by students it's like union.

Admission

The student must score 60% in their 12th standard and must having physics, chemistry, maths as their main subject. Application form is available in official website of aliah university .forms date are out from April to may .The timing of exam is 2 hour and the level is moderate to high.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
