Good remarks- Well teaching stuff, scholarship program, internship. Bad-Library needs improvement.

it is the 2nd central University situated in Assam.The teaching stuff are coming from across India and all are very good. Laboratory facility are available .B.Sc,M.Sc and Ph.D. of various courses are available here. And brilliant students across Assam are selected by the entrance exam.

Life science is a good subject for future carrier.It comprises Molecular biology,plant and animal physiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology , conservation biology etc.All teaching stuff is available for various parts .But laboratory infrastructure is not so good and also library lacking of important books.

Yes, our university has summer and winter internship program. Till now I don't participate in that internship.

After passing M.SC you can apply for the NET or other competitive examinations FOR the LS and Jrf post. You can also eligible for various companies for research purposes.Many of our students are occupied Bog post of a government job. After passing with geography or life science you can also apply for the NET GEO and Discovery or other science-related tv channels.

Fees structure is not so expensive. The fee structure is different for various departments. In case of M.Sc in life science department it cost around 16000 for first-year course and in case of a 2nd semester, the cost is approximately 1400 . Overall 16000+14000=30000.

Loans are offered from various banks for admission.SC , ST, and merit scholarship are provided by government ate also available.

Capus life - Campus is good enough for study purposes . Gender Ratio- Ratio of Male students are higher than female students .but female students are Better in the study. Extracurricular- the gym is available Sports - annual sports competition are held by the union. Lab- the infrastructure of the lab is not so well.

Seniors are very helpful they providing their notes and materials to juniors. All functions are basically held by them.

The exam structure is based mainly on descriptive written examination. In the final examination, all questions are contained 14 marks and all total 70 marks. Before final examination 2 sessional examination held which contain average of 15 marks.GD and quiz are also held for 5marks and you must have to give assignment and presentation for another 5 marks.

First of all you must have to obtain B.Sc degree with minimum requirement of 50 percentage. After that you have to apply online at aus.nic.in for entrece exam.if you are eligible for entrece then you have to attampt 2 stage one is written examination and after that viva.if you are qualified than you can apply for the admission procedure.

In life science, department faculty is available for all subjects and laboratory person is also available.Other than life science few departments has facing problems for the faculty.In Geography department only 2 permanent teachers are available. library stuff are available enough.
