Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum includes both academic and general awareness subjects,generally I was fascinated about mechanical engineering which has robotics, cad,mechanics, thermodynamics... our college provides labs for all these for real life applications, the teaching methods are really good and there is no much of improvement required, our exams timings depends on type of exams, for quizzes, mid sems, end sems.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are really good, there r students who go into iisc,iits, iims, and many reputed companies, they r even paid good sum of stipend,we r given great experience and knowledge along with money
Placement Experience
From 6th semester, u will be eligible, there n no of companies visiting like Amazon, bajaj, gold man saccs etc, highest package of last year is 54.75 lakh and average was about 16-17.about 90% students appeared in placements got placed,my plans after degree is not stable for now and I am first year student, my placement is unaware
Fees and Financial Aid
Our tuition fees is almost constant as it is government college, total cost for my education is approximately 8.5lakhs, there are many govt scholarships like ssp and private like reliance etc, being in first year, we are starting to join clubs and we will have jobs, responsibilities and we get credits for all these..
Campus Life
We have 2 big events, engineer and incident, and other small events throughout the year, out library is large and u will all types of books including academics, our college have big computer centre and research faculty centres..., sports faculties are very good, we have inter nit tournaments which are considered prestigious and competition is really good, there r NGO's, NSS, NCC, other foundations for helping the needy and many technical and non technical clubs for experience and new learnings
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is above average, u need to carry all the stuffs on ur own, u will have wardrobes and a small shelf Meals r good, it has both North Indian and South Indian Our college has website called iris,hostel, mess allotments r done through it, I did not rent any
Admission
The admission process was based on Josaa and csab,being one of the reputed institutions, the cut off of the college is quite high, to apply for Josaa, u have to write mains,you can get all details related to fees in official websites of Josaa,csab.., there r reservation facilities like ews, obc, sc, st., the cut offs r different for different reservations, u can refer to previous year cut offs, jee is considered to be one of the toughest exams, the difficulty is moderate and the exam is for 3 hours, 25 questions each for physics, chemistry, mathematics I suggest to do a detailed analysis during admission,the priority order is very important, so choosing ur priority branch, college, u can make ur decision
